We are almost to October 24, but I just found you and I’m enjoying Watching last year’s videos. Thank you so much for doing this.

Awesome video. very helpful. Will try your favorite but with the purl bump lift! Thanks for leaving in your oops. We all learn from each other's mistakes. 👍

Thank you! 😊 I definitely learned a few new things myself. The bump lift being one of them. But I need to do it a few times for muscle/brain memory. I am glad to show the mistakes, it proves we all are human and not Machines. LOL.

Did the Connie Reeves heel and used your technique for pulling the 2bd purl bump from the needle behind, and got the perfect heel...finally!!!!🎉 Thanks.

Unbelievable that just this morning I was telling my husband that the only thing I have not succeeded in with the machine is heels. I have 4 books, and at a certain point in the heel instructions, there is always sentence that I don't understand, and I can go no further. I told him I wished I could see them done. Less than an hour later, I found this video. No kidding. Thanks doesnt't begin to say it.

What a coincidence!!!! I think I even learned a few things doing all those heels at 1 time. I hope the videos show what you have been missing from your book instructions.

I just did the 1 up 2 down and it is very close. and with the heel spring on it does not seem to shrink the heel. very happy with that one

Personally I'm glad you leave in the oops moments. I never learned to fix my mistakes in knitting. My Sister whom I considered a master knitter was not necessarily the best teacher. She rushed through the oopses, Not taking the time to explain them or show how to correct them. I learned basic knitting from and Aunt at a very young age. Most everything else I learned from my Sister or the KZbins.

I have learned quite a bit from the youtubes. And you're right, if no one shows the mistakes and how they happened and how to fix then. How do we learn?

So far I have not seen a video resembling it. I could send you a picture so you can see it. It does not look like most Short row. this has a fancy stitch for the line. quite pretty

I knit one a long time ago but not lately. I would have to re look at it to try and replicate it

Have you done a video on doing the Kitchener stitching. I really struggle with that

I do the fish lip kiss heel by hand. Is there csm heel that would maybe duplicate it
@aquilladahun-aleftyknitter7 ай бұрын
Fish lips heel is essentially a short row heel, right? So that what I make on my machine all the time.

So where do you start the color change when doing a heel or toe Aquilla?
@aquilladahun-aleftyknitter Жыл бұрын
I have a video planned for that. But I also have a video on my Playlist I made prior to Socktober kzbin.info/www/bejne/goithXWhfrpmqqcsi=x98dRRUuT7Z48pm4

Is it possible to do a thick heel with a csm?
@aquilladahun-aleftyknitter Жыл бұрын
Can you explain what you mean by a thick heel? Like in hand knitting, we do a slip stitch heel? I would have to think about that ( if that's what you mean)
@KATIEMAEMAE Жыл бұрын
@aquilladahun-aleftyknitter9127 I'm not sure how to explain because I cannot knit. My friend knits and makes a thicker heel bc they wear through easily. I'm not sure if it's just a thicker stitch or what. But is there something similar for the csm?
