Yeah, my NIU NQI Sport has a smart headlight. It detects ambient light changes and brightens and darkens the headlight accordingly. While the HALO light stays on as a daylight running light. Very, very smart and uses barely any power

I just rode that thing today. As a motorcycle rider the first thing to change would be the combined brakes. It is actually very easy to do, you simple need to remove the front line that comes from the inside of the bike and close the port on the brake and the counter part on the inside of the bike. I would then fit tiny indicators and modify the controller for more amps and smoother power delivery at the first 1/4 of the throttle. Other than that I was VERY impressed with the value you get for your money.
@bmhgroep2 жыл бұрын
Have this too and I like it fine .... and if your lighting does not go off, just open your handle and move the wire at the light switch . . And if you turn on the switch, your lamp will immediately switch to low beam or high beam, whichever you choose. If you want to have the headlight off, add an extra steering wheel switch and then interrupt the black wire at the headlight and solder the switch in between.

Anyone have a problem with the display yet? I only had the bike for 8 months, and the display will start showing 0% battery after driving for 10-15 minutes. It will still run fine, but I have no idea how much further I can go. It just blinks 0% over and over. If I leave the bike sit for over an hour (turned off), it will show the proper amount of battery life again. I replaced my foot rests once already. My girlfriend wanted to feel how light the bike was and it fell over. That little fall bent the foot pegs in. I replaced the mirrors, and the brake grips, and added saddle bags. I also don't like the rubber stopper over the charge plug. Super annoying to get on and off. Should have a grip bar. There is no trip meter for how far you drove, or time it's been turned on. My girlfriend feels like she is at the doctors office when she sits on the back. The foot rests for the passenger are WAY too high.

Anyone knows how you reset the "trip mileage" indication (top left on the screen) ? I am very frustrated on the lack of documentation for the most basic functions (for example how to display the time ? how to change the display between trip/RPM/range ?) Also very frustrating that the advertised smartphone app does not exist (only a chinese unusable version was found). It looks like an unfinished product still in August 2018, more than a year after its production started.
@knightrides60346 жыл бұрын
Hugues D there's no trip mileage , only Odometer which isn't made to be reset . There's no clock or RPM (maybe a different kind of RPM) , however you can such between things in the button behind the dash Holding the button for 3 , 5 or 8 seconds also results in doing some changes

You should get saddle bags like for a motorcycle. The storage on that bike sucks. The saddle bags can hold your bike cover, and your charger... A different charger then the one that comes with the bike. For some reason every charger you can buy is like half the weight of the original charger. Change your brake grips to adjustable ones. This way, during winter, you are not squashing your gloves. I love the weight, and the high clearance.
@knightrides60346 жыл бұрын
Fish Zom storage is good for me so far , didn't find saddlebags that fit well with the bike . They changed the chargers to the lighter ones ( not sure if it's for all models ) And I'm poor so I can't afford the custom brakes : D
@ZimCrusher6 жыл бұрын
the saddlebags I found were tapered. They are called Mini Type. On Taobao.com 15cm on the front, 20cm on the back, 14cm thick, and 20 long. They fit perfect resting on top of the back foot rests. You can put some duct tape on the bottom of the bags to protect from rubbing the metal foot pads. Also, a fantastic lock for this bike is the Masterlock handcuffs with the longer chain (I think it's 15-20cm). Another nice break lock I found is called Bully Lock. I use it for in/out visits like to pick up food, or coffee.
@Artem-xt6cd6 жыл бұрын
just glue the footrests plugs and they won't fell out. You drove almost 6000km, have you changed the brake pads already? my main problem was the defective battery connector, it was heated when driving, the plastic around the contact melted and the scooter plug was hard to detach after riding. I had to cut the plug on the scooter, disassemble the battery and replace it with an aircraft plug.

The mystery symbol on the speedometer is a BlueTooth icon. Not sure why you'd have it on a bike.

John Purple I know it's a Bluetooth symbol , That's what I said too , we don't know why it's there

Theres is an App coming out for the Bike, I guess the Symbol will show you if you are connected or not www.supersoco.eu/en/home-tc/ "Connect the Super SOCO via mobile cellular network with your smartphone. The free app is available for all platforms and serves multiple purposes: View all the details about your vehicle saved on the bordcomputer and adjust settings around driving behaviour and others exactly the way you want it to be."

The first thing I'd probably do is put some vented disks on the bike, the standard disks look pretty bad.
