Love my TC Max. Fabulous commuter bike. Puts a smile on my face ever time I ride it. Charge it off my solar panels, so I lose 15c revenue to do my 50km round trip to the office. It’s a mix of 60 and 70kph roads and I use about 65% of the battery.

@charlietom1002 жыл бұрын
@@rossblyton3425 Hey Ross. I did buy the tc max orange colour. Been commuting now for 6 weeks and have just over 2000km on the bike. The round trip is exactly 56km. 44km is flat out at 95km/h, the remaining distance, 12km is 50km/h average so some at 60km/h, some at 40km/h. At the end of the trip I have between 6% and 15% range left on the battery. It's the perfect commuter bike , I'm saving $300+ per month in diesel. The bike operates flawlessly. I do this round trip twice a day, The battery takes just on 4 hours to fully charge for the afternoon run using the 10amp charger. I do find that tucking down out of the wind helps with extending the range. I love it. Will probably now go and get a manual bike licence.

use your right hand to change modes don't remove your left hand from the bar, you might do this and the power comes on and bad things could happen :)as in sudden acceleration when you change mode and only have one hand on the handle bar.

haha this made me smile. I'm not worried about taking hands of the bars, I'm very use to riding. I change my music on the intercom, wave at people, wave my hands in the wind coming past. Im looking at this or the Horwin CR6, however ' I am leaning towards the latter as the first is built by China and all the dangers of purchasing products built there. The Horwin is an Austrian company- using Panasonic batteries. Also the Super socco batteries are only rated for 500 recharges at most, whilst the Horwin are PANASONIC batteries-rated at 2000 re charges. Though £600 more expensive than the TC MAX the quality of the batteries in the Horwin make it worth its while in my opinion. Also the Horwin has an inbuilt charger making it easier to extend the range by just using the included long 3 pin kettle lead. Lastly you can get 20 miles on just a 20 min charge and just over 3 hours for a full charge. Otherwise most of the other stats are the same as the TC MAX. The only thing I really dislike about the TC MAX is the typical Chinese start up jingle that reminds me of cheap or fake mobile phones from wish.com :(
@TheGirlOnABike3 жыл бұрын
haha they all have similar horrific gingle, goodness knows why they do that. I am not sure I agree on the batteries, most of them come from the same factories anyway. Stay tuned for the Super Soco to as I believe a new charging system is on it's way. It will be game changing
@gregjetnikoff71244 жыл бұрын
Weight will really only effect range if there is climbing or lots of accelleration . Once rolling the there should be stuff all extra rolling resistance. Wind resistance is another matter. The extra drag will definitely have an effect on your range.
@TheGirlOnABike4 жыл бұрын
I'm not convinced I agree. On an around town city bike the stop start of traffic etc is certainly going to be impacted by weight. I'm 40% lighter than the average guy
@gregjetnikoff71244 жыл бұрын
@@TheGirlOnABike Agree that city stop go will be affected by weight ( acc/decell) , but top speed , at least on the flat should not be mass affected. You are reasonable slender though which would add a couple of KPH by virtue of less drag ( certainly compared to me anyway).
