all guides go for impact instead of improved fireball. You cast frostfire bolt all the time and instant pyro - never never NEVER fireballs.

Balefire bolt doesn't interact with any of our talents or abilities. No way we are using this rune unless they change it up. Doesn't even ignite the target. It's worthless

Plus the fights in ST are super long… I am thinking Molten Armor is the way to go rn

And u can use it 9 times against Molten armor which has 5% crit considering a full fight of 5 min that's more dps

I think it does benefit from the fire tree (ignite, critical mass, fire power). But also the fact that it increases the damage after each cast by 10%, it's a pretty big deal. But yeah, it's prolly not great for super long fights. Have to see if Molten Armor is actually better.

@@andreiserde9441 No I have tested it out. Looks like we will be spamming frostfire bolt this phase unless they change Balefire so that it interacts with our talents etc

Bit confused on this guide, why no points into incinerate over frost warding? molten armor is more beneficial than frost or ice armor. Also balefire and frostfire over molten armor and hot streak?

improved scorch talent gives you 100% to increase the fire dmg the target takes, you even talked about it 1 minute before into the video

is this talent and rune build with Balefire Bolt and frostfire bolt so much better then the combnation molten armor/hotstreak or molten armor/frostfire bolt? I cant believe it... we have so much crit chance, so why not just have the hope to "crit every spell".. I had yesterday some dungeon runs with molten armor/hotstreak and it was craaaazy proccing the pyroblast for free man.. the only reason I see is the mana reason, not more.. maybe I'm missing something to understand it? can someone try to explain or guess with me 😅

I think molten armor frostfire is best. Why spec into the additional crit damage on frost if you dont use it

@@Satire1197 I’ll try it mate and will comment again, got all runes now and the reason to skill in the frost tree is because they say/think/know it counts also for the frostfirebolt

I’ll play molten armor with frostfirebold I guess.. made 2,8k Kitt with lvl 40 gear only ☠️ (didn’t tried the balefirebolt + frostfirebolt combi but it doesn’t make sense to me)

@@walerisyrissov5867 I played with balefire a bit its okay, but doesnt hit as hard as frosfire until 5 stacks or so. Makes the most siense to me to stack crit and hit constant 3ks. Pulled top dps in ST yesterday with it

In my testing frostfirebolt is just better than almost all but the last 2 or 3 balefirebolt. It just isnt worth doing. The molten armor is better in every way.

It comes down to either 100% extra damage on crits of your main spell (frostfire) or free pyros from a lower dps spell (scorch). The sim doesn't lie, depending on gear (pre-bis, for now) Frostfire is ~50dps more.
