Currently re-watching Dual Survival for the 100th time. Glad you’re still doing your thing, Dave! Love ya man!
@J-Morrison2 жыл бұрын
You're the best Dave. I've been 'following' you since Dual Survival and have taken advantage of as much of your shared knowledge as I can over the years, to practice and master on my own. The outdoor/outfitter kitchen series is a whole other realm and a real treat, and your teaching style is just as effective in the kitchen as it is in the field. I value all the time you invest in enabling the community (and your instructors as well). 👍👍

I'll bet you could mix the dry powdered milk in with the flour in the baking soda and the salt and keep it in a baggie in your pack and then all you have to do is add water once you get to your campsite and want to cook something up.
@ExplorerJust2 жыл бұрын
Yep I do exactly that over here in the UK. If its in a bag you can even mix and kneed it in the bag for zero mess to clean up.

This series is great. When the cat bumped the camera I realized that here’s Dave just making a KZbin video. Simple, straightforward and just how it all started. Someday, of course, this will all end… but hopefully not for a long long time. If I’m still around on that day… I’ll be sad. Thanks again!

We mix all the dry ingredients first, including dry powdered milk, before adding any liquid. Just add the same amount of water as the milk called for in the recipe. We use dry powdered milk a lot, especially when camping. Nido is a great version, as is Swiss Miss.
@shadomane2 жыл бұрын
That's a great simple recipe Dave. The ingredients could be easily carried on the trail with the rest of the food kit, even in a backpacking scenario. Very nice. Thanks for sharing and for taking the time and effort to make a video for us.
