Thanks for the tutorials. Itching to get out. Although warmer, ground still frozen in Michigan. My Christmas 800 has drove my wife nuts. I keep setting up test gardens in my living room, air tests, etc... I did promise my wife long walks on the beach, but when I mentioned swinging at the beach 🤣🤣🤣 - She about had a heart attack. 36 years of marriage, and my jokes still catch her off guard! On the 3.0 upgrade, does it effect anything on the detector except to add the 4khz to it?

You may know that they were burying the treasures inside the rocks .. where they used to dig a hole inside the rock and then make a special clay consisting of certain materials such as cement now after putting the gold inside this hole What is the best option and what is the best frequency for hunting targets in the rocks health & wealth

The local and global settings pretty much take care of themselves. Global means if you change a certain setting it will change it for all programs where local will be only for the program that you are on.

Let’s say you are in park 1 make adjustments and than save to custom profile holding the side button . Now is there a way to put park 1 back to it’s original factory preset and the custom button stays with the changes that were previously made?

@@SodBustersMetalDetecting I seen that video before, so I had it out of user saved mode and back on park 1 and reset just park 1 than went back into user mode to see if it still saved the custom set up and it looks like it reverted that back , have you actually tried and than compared to two on yours? Unless I did something wrong .

Do you ever use any of these coin settings on your nox? I’ve used them before but always feel like I’m missing stuff. Plus do you ever have coins hit on 16? I’ve only had mine for about two weeks now and yesterday found my first silver nickel and buffalo !

I don't notch anything out as you will miss good targets. I dig tones rather than numbers because the vdi is not 100% on any machine.

awesome thanks now there is one thing I would like to see that even Andys book and the manual does not explain very well Andy didnt even refer to it and that is how to use the headphones to answer and make phone calls with the headphones while detecting the manual shows how to pair the two but does not go into depth on using the phone and headphones together thanks sarge

yes I watched this video and once again it only shows how to pair the phone to the headphones to allow answering a call, not how to answer the calls do you talk into a microphone on the headphones or do you use the phone or just what what do you do to answer a call in detail

Great videos. I thing I've watched all of them! Question, Is there a way to un save settings once they are made without doing a factory reset? I am just learning the machine and sometimes playing with the settings, I wish to go back to what was originally in a particular program. Doing a factory preset means I then have to re pair my headphones to the machine. I want to avoid that.

You can change the settings any time and the new setting will be saved to the mode you set it in until you change it again

If you want to reset the 1 mode to factory setting without factory preset, go to the mode you want reset and in the main screen press and hold the detect mode until you see SP then release the detect mode button and your reset.

Well to be honest I have had so much trouble with it that I haven't been able to tell. Mostly filming with my phone until I get it figured out.

Thanks. I still use the GP4 Because I bought a Sennheiser microphone for it. It cost me around $200 and I hate not to use it. But the old GoPro leaves me very limited

so you can only use the custom button man icon for 1 program only ? and not 2 custom profiles as i did have beach to land in custom man but its now gone as i have written over it also when u go over the factory ones and change will it change them or will it reboot them back to factory when turn machine off? i like xp deus for custom programs as can call them names pretty useful and you can save more programs

Yes only 1 program for the man icon but when you set a program in one of the modes it will save until you change it

@@swiftdetecting yes, as far as best program it all depends on the ground you are hunting. I change programs according to ground conditions, emi, etc
