Sodium Hypochlorite (15%) on block paving (time-lapse)

This is 1 part sodium hypochlorite to 3 parts water. Left to dwell for 15 mins then rinsed off.
If you pause the video at the start you should be able to see the greener areas of the paving. You will note when the paving has dried they are clean and bright. This is excellent stuff.

Its good stuff, if you powerwash and then use it, it realy does work well at 1 in 3, if you use 50/50 its ridiculously strong

Holy shit bro. 15% is way strong for that. You could've gone like 5% and it would've worked the same.

Brilliant video. What if I do this without pressure washing? Would it just kill off the moss?

I didn’t use a pressure washer, just a hose. It’ll turn the moss in the gaps yellow and it’ll eventually die. I’d recommend weed killer a few days prior and then use the sodium hypochlorite. You’ll then see the stuff in the gaps die and it’ll basically loosen from the blocks.

Yes just a standard 5 litre pump sprayer. Wear old clothes and goggles though it’s not nice stuff. 👍

It's called sodium hypochlorite. It's basically the active ingredient in bleach. You can use pool shock, it comes TYPICALLY in 10%-12%. 15% is a really really strong mix. Just spray it on and it kills all living growth on the papers, giving it a nice clean shine.
