In biblical perspective we will be washed from all unrighteousness/sin by the blood of the Lord Jesus (Rev.1:5)... How did the Lord purchase us by His blood? He built His Church (Matt 16:18) and purchased it w/ His blood, "take heed therefore to yourselves and to all the flock over which the holy spirit has appointed you overseers to feed the church of Christ which He purchased with His blood." (Acts20:28,GLT) It was the Church of Christ redeemed by Christ that all those who are part of it may cleanse their conscience to serve the living God (Heb.9:14)... So its not just about repentance that people know nowadays but according to the bible its repentance and believing in the gospel (Mark1:15).... Let us be Biblical!👍

47:45...I think those life spans were literal life spans. There are problems with the timeline calculated by James Usher. It appears that there are transcription errors in the Masoretic text which results in about 650 years being removed from the timeline. If you look at other texts, like the Septuagint for example, you can see that some of the ages are significantly different. I say all this to say that we shouldn't be relying on hard timelines here since we have to sort of go out on a limb to get some of these ages.
