Let’s just say, that nasty ex-neighbours, (who for the sake of privacy reasons I’ll give the alias names of Uncle Albert, Aunt Flo, and cousin Ed) Basically, uncle Albert was notorious for going back on deals, and had the family’s ancestral home, (which by law made a deal with his dad to keep it in the family for 100 years) but because he was getting on in years, (and his narcissistic behaviour truly showed) he slowly sold off little chunks of the farm one by one. One of which in particular Ed wanted to buy off him. Uncle agreed to it, drew up a contract and everything, stating that at the end of the 5 years that Ed had to pay his dad off, Uncle had to hand the deed over to him. However, this never happened. So, eventually 2021 rolls around and all hell broke loose. Family dramas unfolded which led to Albert trying to get one over on my dad, by putting the ancestral farm on the market, breaking the 100 year agreement (which, for reference the farm’s been owned by the family since 1947) so, Aunt Flo and Eddie had enough, and they took him to court. Don’t know the specifics of what went down, nor am I allowed to disclose such things, but long story short, Uncle got kicked off the farm, exiled to a retirement property on the coast, Aunt Flo got the farm, and Ed got the deeds to his block. One of these days, this really should go on the Reddit railway ay?
