Thank you for taking the time to revisit that story with Brenner. I enjoyed working on it. Andrew Brenner’s impact on the franchise was a huge inspiration for it. While working on Thomas, Andrew Brenner also worked on another animated show called Pablo. It’s what inspired the interaction with Luis and his son. Even though the Thomas CGI show (like the mid Sodor railway) didn’t last forever, both Brenners still had a lot to share with the world.

I'm glad you enjoyed Andreas' story. That is a good point you made at the end, about how there's a LOT of Mid-Sodor characters. I've actually been taking a look at that recently, and realised that they can be separated by time as well as space. "Engines came and engines went" and all that. We may see more of them in my future videos. In fact, I'm literally working on a model of one of the MSR characters while I'm watching this video.

Hey Useful, I really liked the video. It was really cool seeing you talk about all of these fan characters. :D I noticed that you were confused about who made Crimson, I can tell you that he was created by T1E2H3, not Sodor Workshops. Workshops never had a model like that in any incarnation of the site's existence. The base model that T1E2H3 used was an engine named Fardell from the now-defunct website 24ng Trainz, editing the Oliver faces on top of the smokebox door. The one in the remake you showcased at 6:22 - 6:34 is a facemeshed version of the original Fardell model, you can see the smokebox door's dart sticking out.

My headcanon for the Mid Sodor Railway is that it consisted of Duke, Stuart and Falcon, along with Stanley, Smudger, Bertram, Proteus, Freddie, Albert 2, Jim, Tim, Gerry, Atlas, Alfred, Jennings, John, Mighty Mac, Millie, Andrew/Albert 1, Arthur/Albert 3 and the unnamed mine engine, plus William, Vincent, Steamer, Roy, Kim, Crimson, Brenner and Andreas.

There is something I wonder how does Peter Sam or Sir Handel didn’t know who Stanley was. He was in the sheds behind duke in bulldog.

That's because that's an illustration error. In the official timeline bulldog happens in 1904. And Stanley wasn't built until 1917 and didn't come to the Mid Sodor until 1920. And then Stanley got turned into a pumping engine in 1928. Even though Duke the Lost Engine is one of the best in The Railway series I will admit it does have its continuity issues.

I personally think that Stanley was withdrawn BEFORE Falcon and Stuart arrived, but was turned into a pumping engine AFTER they arrived.

I'm not sure about Crimson as he kind of looks like a freelance design. However Andreas is based off a 'War Office' Hunslet "Waroff" 4-6-0T.

In my experience, I think Brenner looks similar to Jennings, though I guess you might be forgiven for thinking otherwise, since Jennings was also painted light blue. As for Andreas, I strongly agree with your opinion of him being the winning OC character, who, by the way, isn't really an OC at all. The real Andreas actually worked on the MSR before being turned into a boiler for a steamboat.
