To be honest, I think that Caden is an under-developed character. I mean, this is the first episode that actually stars Caden and it’s said that he had a few accidents over the years, yet we know nothing about those. I hope there’ll be more episodes about him.

A bit of good old yard work serves for a great story if done right especially when trying to reflect realistic railway operation. One thing that keeps drawing my eye is those Sodor Mail van's. I remember the Post Train had been disbanded and we saw one of them with a solemn look when they were no longer in use in one of your earlier episodes. So they seem to be consigned to the yard to gather dust for now. Shall we be hearing more of them later?

Sounds good. Whether their fate is going to be good or bad; I thought they might become a plot element again. It's nice that they can draw your eye when you watch the series in order as anyone that didn't see the episode in question would just see them as background stock without knowing their story. Every time I seen them in the background I just imagined them despairing while everyone went about their duties; sometimes it feels like a plot in a plot. :)

No, for two reasons: 1) The TV series is set in the 1960s, so is a good 50 years or so behind where my series is set. 2) No TV series characters will ever be appearing in my episodes.

Oh wow! Based on the intro before we got into story I was figuring this was just a slice of life type of story examining Caden at work. Instead we got a full on problem here! I really like how this establishes Caden's faults and how unjustifiable they are, as well as the chilling end in regards to his working career... I'd actually say that Edward and Iris is an accurate description. James' work ethic totally depends on what he's doing. Trucks, shunting, he'll be a bit reluctant at first, but he'll still do it. Edward does anything asked of him without any fuss. Iris is the same way, except due to her background, she's a bit more of a strict, 'maximum efficiency' type. Edward and Iris's work ethic combined really is a good way to describe Caden. He does his work without fuss, and tries keeping his yard as efficient as possible.

Streamlined Engine Makes sense. But if I were to make my own Sudrian Railway Series, I'd do the same, but with a combination of the Railway Series AND the TV series. (The only difference would be that some characters from the TV series won't have existed in my version.)

Caden should of listened to Henry instead letting himself be destracted by Shann otherwise he wouldn't of gotten that Milk tanker mixed up with the Fuel tankers and now he's in trouble for it maybe they should get another Engine to assist him in the yard since he's only one engine.

What shunter would Caden be replaced by if he loses his last chance? A Class 20? (Yes I know the setting's 2011 and the Class 20 wasn't initially designed for shunting). Or "it has become clear to me that" they "need another engine." Sorry, that was a little immature of me but I had to say it. :)

Because Caden and Peter are friends. Normally, when engines meet Caden he's in his yard, being bossy. As such, they don't like him. But when Peter met Caden, they were both at the works. Peter was getting restored, and Caden was getting a service. As Caden wasn't being bossy (he wasn't in his yard), they were able to become friends.

The situation about Caden wanting Edwin to take Owen's train: What would Owen be pulling back to Vicarstown then? He would be a light engine making the railway no money, in fact losing money. I believe Ms Hatt has the timetables that way with this in mind.

Can someone please help? I have tried installing a some of these engines in Trainz 12, aswell as a bunch of Si3D and Sodor Workshops ones. However, not all of them worked and in surveyor, the text is red, meaning something has gone wrong. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Dustin Zimmer I did also have that roundhouse when I used TRS2006, but can't remember the site name but it was from somewhere that had drivable buses aswell as Pullman coaches.
