I would do anything to see Gibby live. I listened to this and “photograph” on a loop for months when I first fell in love with a girl. I posted a poem online to confess my feelings and she saw it. We never quite worked out. Gibby is the reason I started writing. Forever grateful for their art.

the first time i heard this poem it brought me to tears because of how raw and honest it was. i connected with the feelings so much and still do. i've had the opportunity to see andrea gibson live twice in seattle and each performance has been amazing. the performance they give, not only in videos i've seen here on youtube but also in person, are something that nothing else can compare to. thank you for having this here

If you ever get the chance to see her live trust me when i say you will experience emotions you've never had before, you will be in such a trance that no one but Andrea will be in that room and her words will be spoken just for you, or so you'll think. once its over you'll wonder what happened to your body and mind and how this Incredible person was able to possess you with just words. I lost myself when she performed this poem and it was so beautiful that I mad had let a tear or two. just remembering gives me chills.

Every single time I listen to this one, tears begin to flow quite automatically and there's this lump in my throat I cannot get rid of. I think that is what Andrea does, with their words, making us miss things, people, experiences one didn't even know it was possible to miss.

Being loved by you must be such magic, every word you speak gives me goosebumps. I begin to imagine what an absolute high it must be to be the one in those moments with you, the moments where you delicately string together words in a way that strips everything else away. Thanks for your stethoscope story I know of nothing more erotic than spontaneous innocent responses to the way we connect in love, the way we connect in ways that are wordless. What a better way to experience this. I love your ability to be the most amazing human and all of it coming from an awkward simple innocence inspired by the beautiful child you carry within. I cannot say in words how your words have moved me, shaped me, but let's say that in the dark of my own eclipse you were the star on the edge of the horizon whispering " let yourself glow". It is as if, when I felt least worthy of my own humanity you appeared, fully human speaking a language I always knew, but never understood until that moment. I know now that scars do not come from pain, they come from wounds, wounds we accumulate as we run away from the pain when all along the pain has been telling us how human we really are. Thanks grief thief.

Thank you for helping closer closed kids like me, love ourselves after we have been hurt. Regardless if we know each others sides or not. No I don’t want you to hurt, but can I love a like you. And a like you said yes first. I would never to you woman that there is a thing I have or haven’t survived - what’s done is done. I love the Pact. My Pride is in You. You helped me be Liberty. I’m she hulk - Steve - I can’t always see Urk. - defense strictly and most respectfully reachable and rightfully- I am always a flower of some kind for a truth to be told. One card two cards, for a woman if any nature. Trust me, at this point I say ahead of time IF So - I’m Sorry. If he’s not, then I’m not either. But if we are, then ShE is the one. And I am not. It’s my life. If anyone thinks I would. Then it can be made to seem. So I do not have fear it was is already safe. I trust it will be safe & im constantly in equilibrium of IF IT Will then Why isn’t it. And new comers, the crowd. Thanks but I was talking to y’all. And I love love. Keep what you got. - suddenly this became a diary... well passing it through the phone. Another confused bisexual Christian note. Am I unusual perhaps, as I evil. No. I would rather love myself than put on a permanent show. Much appreciated- much love. Thanks for the net.
