wasteland 3 how to get the PDW-01 submachine gun best sub machine gun here guys and girls is how to unlock the submachine gun the PDW-01 this submachine gun is a beast and a few people asked if i had found it well here it is =) enjoy have a similar video out but people were missing it as it wasnt titled with this smg so did a quicker vid thats there to help players find this awesome gun

Just an FYI for anyone passing through: the Lancer and the PDW actually combo with each other once you have the Lvl 10 Auto perk. SMGs and ARs trigger the skill independently, which means you can net 6 AP by using both instead of just the SMG. You can actually net 10 AP if you factor in the Stormer perk, and the Lancer can be outfitted with a scope to score distant kills after advancing with the PDW.

This needs to be made very clear: you need someone, most likely a custom recruit with VERY HIGH perception (awareness stat + sneaky s**t skill) to detect the dirt mound. Also if you go South via Ghost Town you will trigger a time-limited quest called "Sister's Keeper" of which you'll likely be very under-levelled, and very likely to fail the quest. IMO you should go East from the Monster Bazaar (have the world map from the internet on your phone) and make a straight-line dash to the massacre site, and have a nitro spike ready. The massacre site spot is always free of radiation.

Yeah, did it the same way on my supreme jerk play through and also got lucky because I found a merchant with all late game weapons, was only able to buy jackhammer and ripper and at that time I was focusing mainly on my shotgun character and smg leader one. So that was double win. And I got it straight after bizzare so rest of the game was piece of cake. Truly, except maybe on fight with lots of drools in denver I don't remember if any of my fights after this point went to third turn. 90 % in first, 10 % won in second. My team is two snipers - one starting one with eliminator, second one us the leader with energy damage sniper (jodie us in that role), smg leader with pdw-01 and ripper with energy barrel, shotgun assault (jackhammer with ap mag and range extender scope) with highest charisma instead of intelligence (give 10 charisma at the beginning to get more XP, don't need intelligence because i hunt synts in first place, skill you got from it give you nice crit chance, thanks to that I got speed max out and with armour upgrade I'm moving like gazzele on the map), lucie as a pistol and shotgun specialist (you can use jackhammer with cold barrel) and heavy gunner whith explosives to use nooka zuka. All of them are manage to do minimum two kills each. Basically each snipers, lucie and heavy gunner taking 8plus enemies, smag leader between 3 to 6, shotgun assault guy with right circumstances even 10 plus.

The holes to your left is far more important then the PDW. I was doing some testing and found out you can get unique weapons from that whole. This includes the level 10 sniper ray tracer along with other level 8 and 9 unique weapons that you find towards the end of the game.

Finished the game yesterday and that SMG is awesome. With a good build they'll easily mow down many enemies a turn... at least on Ranger difficulty.
