Im at a point where i don't want to go see any doctor and just let my body be, but i know is not right. Is a really frustrating experience :( Love the light that you always bring to differente topics on womens health, im really gratefull for this space💖

I would've loved that Dr Thais shared other options that are also available asides from the pill. Depending on each case, the pill might not be the best option. There are natural ways to treat the symptoms as well. It would be incredibly helpful for other patients that have already tried the pill, feel and know that there are other solutions out there. Thanks for this episode and raising awareness!

You’re not alone. Like Sophia, there are many things that need to be looked at with pregnancy and women’s health-like PCOS because it’s too much testosterone or cystic acne or other forms of acne, or insulin resistance. Finding a doctor who will listen is the hardest but when you find a good one-keep that doctor!

OMG! The high BP was my same story...luckily my BP started going up 5 hours postpartum. I ended up having to go on magnesium(yuck) and stayed in the hospital 5 days total. The good part was that my sweet little baby boy got to stay in the hospital with me. What an experience though...never thought pre eclampsia could happen after delivery!!

I wish more people would talk about postpartum complications. I have PCOS and at the time I had a bicornuate uterus. With my first daughter I needed an emergency D&C nine days postpartum because I had a retained placenta. Twelve years later with my second daughter I had another D&C with a retained placenta but it was done right after her birth.

I had pre-e hit at 40 weeks. My BP was 190 at my last appointment. Induced, long labor, then BP too high to push, and c-section. I was then readmitted two times after my first release. I spent about 9 days in the hospital in total. I believe about 4 of the days were on Mag. My doctor had me on 5 BP pills a day for about 3 months. I ended up with severe post partum depression due to it all. I’m terrified to have another since it all happened with my first. She is my absolute greatest blessing. Never would any doctor here allow texts or send a nurse to my home. Having that kind of relationship would make the process a little easier.

Such a good podcast 🙌🏼 I live in the UK and have suffered with PCOS since puberty, I’ve never been treated. I have high levels of testosterone, acne and anxiety. I was getting pains in my stomach so went for a private MRI which showed cysts on my ovaries. I went back to the NHS doctors and they didn’t really explain anything to me, they gave me a leaflet and told me to exercise and eat dark chocolate 😩 I just wish their was more education and monitoring, in the UK you never go back to the same doctor so it’s hard

Birth control just suppresses the symptoms and doesn’t treat the root cause.. the root cause for hormones is the liver, women need to do a liver gallbladder flush and flush out toxins, mucoid plaque and parasites that are disrupting hormones in the first place.
@indianajones4016Ай бұрын
Yes, birth control just supresses symptoms and doesn't address the root cause. The root cause is hormonal imbalance and for that we look to the liver. I recommend the zencleanz liver and gallbladder flush to clean up the toxins also another thing to clean up is processed food in your diet and also toxic household and personal care products that contain endocrine disrupting chemicals and switch these out with natural solutions, an easy way to do that is to grab a wholesale account with Doterra where you can order deodorant, laundry, perfume, diffuser, supplements, nutrition, dishwasher powder, shampoo, medicinal oils etc the list goes on and make clean swaps with one shop
