Interesting to see a “lattice” type of platform screen at some of the stations.

I'm a bit late, but they're actually quite good TBF. They're sturdier than they look, harder to climb and harder to lift overall, while also sounding a bit of an alarm when touched.

Wow, M3 definitely was aided by china in construction, those platform doors look identical to the ones in Shanghai! Cool to see the same stuff far across the world.
@sobu_hasy9 ай бұрын
It has Siemens-made metro trains (in Poland) and Siemens-made automation and the stations and tunnels of this line were built by a Turkish company from what I heard. These platform-screen doors are from Westinghouse (which is owned by the German company Knorr-Bremse). So there is actually no Chinese company that made the line.

There're exact same doors on M3 line in Minsk
@QuarioQuario543216 ай бұрын
They’re seemingly just a default design for metro stations that don’t warrant full height doors such as those above ground
@TzvetozarCherkezov3 ай бұрын
There's nothing Chinese in either the construction or the trains.

Where is the modernized metro i thought is M4
@Bulgarian_Coastline2 ай бұрын
I didn't see any ''nomernoy'' metro trains in this video... Well, that's disappointing. I mean, the video's about the metropolitan's lines, fine, I have nothing against it, but these trains are culturally and historically significant in our city, serving ever since the metro system began its operation in 1995 (though they were built in the Soviet Union in 1989-90, which actually makes them even more special), and thus, it'd be great if at least one (modernized or not) was featured in this upload of yours, you know what I mean.

I wish I saw it but unfortunately after 3 days of search no luck :(
@Bulgarian_Coastline2 ай бұрын
@@central-city I see. At what time of the week and day did you conduct your search? I'm asking because the non-modernized ones run mostly only at peak hours, while the others do so at all times, though some days they aren't out anyway. Usually, half an hour of waiting on a week day at a peak hour on a station with both lines 1 and 4 is a good way to catch a ''nomernoy''.
