exactly, i love delena but i feel like elena/elijah was kind of a missed opportunity lol i actually think elena has good chemistry with elijah AND rebekah ( i even see a weird chemistry with kol too which is.. odd and idk how to feel about it) stefan with klaus and rebekah damon a little bit with elijah as well and caroline with klaus obviously those are the main tvd characters that i think would work in a ship with the originals

Most likely because the character carries himself in a way that would look off dating a kid in high school. Elijah was actually younger than Damon when they were turned into vampires so why people accepted that is beyond me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees chemistry between Elijah and Elena. I always get emotional with his letter to her, but what I think happens between them is that Elijah admires Elena's ability to be good, and that is why he has a certain respect for her. Damon always says he is selfish, but we know that is not true.

Damon Salvatore with him is not afraid of being hated, with him touching difficult choices to save those he loves by taking the consequences he is very selfish yes but that's what we will all have done, this is his way of sacrificing himself for his brother and demonstrating his love for him, it was up to Stefan to kill Bonnie's mother but Damon chose to do it for his brother because he knows that Stefan loves his reputation as a good boy, not to feel guilty again and to remain good in Elena's eyes, what courage and who would have done it? He never makes his brother feel bad about this and invites him to be good again because he is there to do the dirty work. A selfish but a great altruist, immature at times but also very mature in certain situations, true and consistent with what he feels, says and does, he punishes himself by being hated, an emotional self-harm, as always Defan's dialogues and their scenes do excite, most find the original family more interesting I don't know I have not seen the "original" series and although I love Eliah, like the brotherly relationship between Stefan and Damon between love and hate I think it's unique and really well written. I am very sorry for my Bonnie it is true he always has to lose someone or something but Elena has also lost a lot and has her own way and with her means as a human doppelganger tries to protect her loved ones, Bonnie has chosen to protect Elena and has more means to do it so you have to put in the budget that this can lead to sad consequences, you can it is not Elena's fault that Damon and Stefan would do anything to save their life she would never have agreed in this. I understand Bonnie and I'm sorry but I'm also very sorry for Elena being forced to live with this burden that others go out of their way to keep her alive and suffer consequences for it. From this comes Elena's indecisive, depressive character and the fear of expecting to be happy and want what she wants because she thinks she doesn't have the right so she lives according to what her friends want from her. For this he is afraid to admit that he loves Damon "the bad boy" so as not to disappoint his friends so he tries to go back to the "good boy" Stefan.

There is no mentioning of Stefan asking Damon to do that...Damon did it himself. He's not trying to maintain any "good" boy reputation. He even said he's worse than Damon once. He's not doing anything to look good in Elena's eyes. He's doing what he thinks is right and his good intentions come from within himself.

@@multifandomtribe9554 Nobody said Stefan asked Damon to do it for him I just said that these are Damon's ways of sacrificing himself for his brother trying to lighten Stefan's conscience and not give him further burdens on his conscience and make him live further guilt and remorse and also not to be hated further by Elena given the evil she did him on the bridge. For me Stefan cares a lot about his reputation and he likes it so much that others have positive thoughts about him and he has a huge fear of letting Elena see him for who he really is even though he acknowledged that he is worse than Damon that doesn't mean. that he wants to show what he is also because to say and show him is completely different. From the first episode he created an image he hid many things from Elena and told her only when she discovered something about his past, it was he who also told Elena that he is the good brother, that it is not right that he does only good. Stefan is inconsistent with himself, with what he thinks, says, feels and does, he would like many times to do what Damon does to save Elena or get out of a situation but he restrains for the most part because of his fear of his reputation but breaks this rule when Damon is not there to do it and is really forced not beyond that he knows he is justified for having done it (example when he killed Vicki) but in any case to keep his reputation I do not see a bad thing indeed it is wonderful to want him others think well of you what I don't love about Stefan is his hypocrisy and his inconsistency and although he would do anything to save Damon I don't love his constant judgments and criticisms of Damon when he says he was worse or he would do it too. part what Damon does. You can no one said that Stefan's intentions are not good in what he wants to do indeed I have always said Stefan has excessive goodness but also excessive badness simply suffers from double personality he is the good and the bad 🙃😉.

He was always good (excluding his ripper days) even before he met Elena...So I was just offended that you said he's doing it to maintain his reputation which is actually not true...He does what he thinks is right.

@@multifandomtribe9554 tell me one thing, if damon wouldn't have killed abby, what would u think stefan might do to bonnie, may be he will, may be he won't, if he kills bonnie, he has that feeling that elena would hate him forever, so he won't do it and damon doesn't hesitate to do it for stefan cuz he know about his brother, stef feels guilty more powerful than anyone else, so that's what he's trying to say, stef doesn't wanted to be a good guy in elena's eyes, that's what he was, the path he chose was against his nature, his morals, ethics sometimes puts him in a complex position and damon may be the bad and toxic guy but when it comes to his brother, he understands him, he love elena and he'd do anything to get her but not with stefan's life, that's why he keep saying elena that whatever stef did when he was off the rails or that revenge plan on klaus, he did it for elena, he would never hurt her, like he said he know what's she gonna do, so he won't force her anymore to express her feelings, he was better being the badguy to save his saint brother sometimes, i know stef was a good guy all the time but he sometimes proclaim himself as the good one by making damon bad infront of elena, he did it like 3 times, but another thing when damon killed jeremy, he defended him, he said elena that wasn't damon, that's cuz of katherine, but damon never, not a single time made stef look bad infront of elena❤️

So something I always notice in the fandom is that a lot of people didn't understand Esther's motivations. She directly states that she had to suffer a consequence for creating the Originals and starting the Vampire Species. To clarify, after dying by her own son's hands, her spirit/soul went in the Other Side wherein she was had to watch her children become monsters over the next 1000 years. More importantly, for over 1000 years, Esther was forced share the pain each one of her children's victims (they all have high kill count). That is until she came to the realization (with the "help" of her fellow Witch spirits) that she had no choice but to undo her mistake by killing her own children.
