One thing they never fully explain in the show is that Marcel assumed the Mikaelsons abandoned him which is why he never went after them, not knowing that they thought he was dead.

Yeah, the relationship between Marcel and Klaus is very complex and interesting to watch unfold. Marcel is the only person he believed was good enough for Rebekah, but he was afraid their love for each other would outshine their love for him which is why he was so against it.

Claire (Rebekah) and Phoebe (Hayley) starred in their own show growing up called H20. They were mermaids. I love seeing them continue their careers and friendship together. Beautiful friendship.

I actually ended up watching the Originals first then TVD, reason I started TVD was to see more of Klaus. I fell in love with his character from this show. One of the little easter eggs, not sure if it was in this episode or the next, but if you pay attention, Klaus bought the painting that was being talked about with him and Cami in the TVD Episode.

Marcel is one of the most interesting characters in the entire TVDU, and definitely my favorite in this show. His relationship with all of the Mikaelson’s is very complex. Can’t wait for you to see his entire story! The original family are of course fascinating, but I think all the main side characters are my favorites in this show going forward, including Hayley.

I’m so glad you have gotten this far I’ve been here since tvd, personally I like the originals better than tvd but not by much they are both fantastic shows, that little talk and speech klaus had with Hayley towards the end I get chills every time I watch it can’t wait to continue on with u in finishing this franchise!!!

I'm gonna say something. The Originals to me is miles better than TVD. I watched it from the very first episode, week by week. Survived between the seasons until the end. It's so good. The characters are perfect. I'm really looking forward to you seeing so much drama, love, passion, fashion and a whole lot of miserable bitches on this show. TVD was about romance... The Originals is about family; a family that stays together, *always and forever*

I like the vampire diaries and the originals better than legacies. In my opinion as a 27 year old legacies is too kiddy for me, legacies looks like it’s meant for 13 to 16 year old audiences while the vampire diaries and the originals are both meant for audiences in their 20s and 30s
