I have only recently discovered all of the video evidence of Soft Cell. I grew up with these records, and all I knew was the sleeves. What an awesome artist. He was treated like shit by every form of media In the 80's. HE led the way for gay right and is solely responsible for the breakthroughs in gay rights alll the while he was the most humble and dignified person ever. 1984 Royal festival hall All those lamenting the loss of soft cell, a few years ago were in for the most awesome performance. Marc in his sequined Jacket singing You have, Jeoy demento, I will never forget that moment. And he eventually got a MBE, the same guy that the sun news paper tried to destroy. He is the only reason I feel completely flambouyant.
