Personally I comprehended a lot of things going around in my life at very young age due to circumstances . The majority of the population would be able to sing this song as their hymn. Almost every young person think how special, different and indomitable she or he is. Most of them ends as "another brick in the wall". It doesn't have to be that way, but trust me - the price for being individual and independent is pretty high. All the best for your way. ✌

Marc's vocal performance is stellar and David Ball finally gets some focus with this video gem. I would have like to have seen it during the songs release, but thank goodness for KZbin for being so willing to help fill in the blanks of my music video past. I like the variety in these music videos from soft cell because of how Dave Ball often looks very much a gentlemen work office appearance about him and Marc is kind of like especially in this video very much a teenager especially with the style of jewellery and he’s just going mad with the world and he’s saying that he wants to die too.

They went straight to the top of popular culture and they are still at the zenith, a place none of the contemporary “pop stars” will ever go. The cause of this misperception must be the poor results in KZbin videos and numbers. The plagued mind and its metrics.
