I love Wheatens! We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved Wheaten, Wicket. We had him since he was a puppy and loved every minute of the 15+ years we had with him. I now find myself watching youtube videos and wishing he was still with us.

I have a whoodle but she looks like a purebred wheatie and has the personality. I love how she’s so friendly and always looks happy. She’s my little buddy and wants to do everything with me. I love that she’s up for anything and almost never afraid. Car rides, swimming, runs… she makes new friends wherever she goes. She’s fun, lively, and energetic. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect dog for myself

Ours is super friendly. Love how she loves everyone and she never barks at people or other dogs. The receptionist at our vets says she is the friendliest dog, and the workers at her groomers all kneel down to get the wheaton greetin' from Zuri. I had never met a Wheaten prior to getting ours. So glad we took a chance on this breed.

Fudge Has changed our lives. I can’t believe that you didn’t include hypoallergenic in your list . A few dogs with none shedding coats like Poodles, Bichon Freize and Wheatens are known for being low allergy. Some people particularly recommend a wheaten and it’s definitely true for me. I’m very allergic so i still have to take an antihistamine every day, but i was already doing that for eczema , so its not just about being able to have a dogs after 35 years of Marriage and a grown up family we finally got a dog who could stay . keeping her coat shorter than average also reduces the debri she brings in so i crept for wet foot prints and toys etc you can’t tell we have a dog, not a hair in sight. Wheaten greetings are adorable but you do need to decide how much your friends can tolerate, on ordinary days Fudge is only allowed a small greeting, her mother and uncle were allowed to jump up and pin us down on the sofa for several minutes of enthusiastic greeting. Definitely not something most of us want on a daily basis, Adorable but inconvenient. Loving absolutely everyone yet still being true to a master is an amazing trait, visiting children have a wonderful time playing with her. Alike us they think she is wonderful.

I have one and he is such a sweet heart. We het him groomed to look more like the cut that a Golden doodle would get but his hair is always crazy anyways. Wheatens are so underrated, they are truly amazing and adorable dogs and im surprised that they arent more popular. Great vid!!

I love the Wheaten Terrier. Once you’ve had one you’ll never have another breed. I also know Krista the dock diving dog. The biggest show for Wheatens is in Montgomery Co. PA. It’s overwhelming. They are very loyal & follow you around. As for training, be firm but not harsh or yell, they get their feelings hurt easily. If you go to a reputable breeder through the SCWTCA you’ll have a much easier time. They are bred for temperament, health & breed standard. Awesome.

Wheaten's are a special breed. They definitely have the terrier attitude, but with a big dose of soft cuddly love added. Not for everyone cause they require training and are energetic. But for those with the time & ability, they are a lovely, endearing breed.

I enjoyed this. Interesting how many breeds come from Ireland. Maybe a series on different areas of the world and their dogs would be good! Also, Irish Wolfhounds have fascinated me since I was a little girl. As a proud Sheltie owner I'd love a video on the breed. I think they are underrated. They are incredibly smart, loyal, loving and protective dogs. I don't hear a lot about them, with labs and terriers kind of dominating dog videos on KZbin. I've never owned a dog as smart or loyal as my Shetland Sheepdog, and I've had a Collie and a German Shepherd. Anyway, love this video. I think you could do longer videos, maybe about issues in the dog world or something. ☺

I would like to make a video about every single dog breed (but it will take a long time, since there is more than 300 different breeds). But i will make a video about Shelties as soon as possible! I like the breed a lot. Doing some research about european herding dogs and if one looks at the Briard, Gos d'Atura, Schafpudel and Cão de Água Português and then looks at the irish commoner's dogs (Wheaten and Kerry Blue).... There might be a link of origin.

Well.. No dog breed is 100% hypoallergenic, because all of them produce some dander and saliva. But, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers are very close to being hypoallergenic and they not triggering allergie as much as other dog breeds. But it would be better if you can spend some time before the dog to try it.

I’ve a parson terrier pup , I had Jack Russel dogs all my life and was told that same story but it was the Jack Russel that was the poormans worker ! I’d say your dogs the correct one ,👍🏻
