Sounds killer dude. Pat Matrone has really been knocking out some great tracks lately. Kinda funny, I just realized the other day that those China made Charvels I bought, the Desolation series, they were made by Cort. 😂

@@dmnguitarist ha doesn't surprise me! They seem to dominate a lot of the Asian production. I love how buttery this one feels. Definitely old school strat vibes. Been trying to rotate in some guitars that haven't seen much love lately 😂 Pat Matrone just keeps getting better and better. I swear half the time I use his tracks, is the backing music that steals the show! I was just thinking how nice it is these days to have all these tools at our disposal. It's a far cry from guitar tab magazines and instructional VHS tapes 🤣

@@cbsaulren yeah I had a feeling it was Cort so I did some digging. Those are cool guitars for the money. Did you see the new MJ yet? Nicest Charvel I've had to date. And yes we're spoiled now compared to back in the day. 😂

@@dmnguitaristShit, no... KZbin is weird with the recommendations but I'm def gonna check it out! I've been eyeing them since they announced. I was really wanting a SS fret Charvel. It's like the only down side to their MiM line (not really a big downside imo. Nickel feels nice and soft if that makes sense) but something about SS gives a guitar an indestructible feel and you basically never have to worry about fret wear unless you're crazy with bends and vibrato. I think I'm gonna sell off some of the guitars that I never play and put it towards a MJ.

Nice work! Can you teach me some techniques? :P

@@drawingwithsound8022 I'd be happy to help any way I can! Though, I imagine there's much more capable teachers 😁 A million thank yous for the comment 🙏🙏🙏

@ nonsense! Besides.. they’d be too busy for the likes of me anyway🥲. Unless I can afford them😅. How about it? Give me some free lessons? Lol seriously. I am after some techniques than theory, not that the theory is less important. It’s just that techniques take longer to master

@drawingwithsound8022 I'm willing to make a video of some of the techniques I use... Are there any in particular that you are interested in? I've never given lessons before but I can give it a shot Just to be straightforward; I'm not a "pocket lick" kind of player. Certain staple licks that you hear from other guitarists might require me to learn them myself before trying to relay the technique to anyone else 🙂
