Did you go to high school in one of those Southern states? The Daughters of the Confederacy did such an effective job changing history books and promoting the Lost Cause theory that there's still students in those states today who think slavery wasn't the cause of the Civil War. So naturally they wouldn't cover Southern Strategy.

I think you are missing the point. Theycask about her interpretation of the law which is important when it comes to being I. The life long position of the Supreme Court if a judge has a left leaning bias she is more likely to pass laws in favor only one party which is the democrats which is wrong for any judge to only favor one political side
