That’s so instructive. And skilled. Thank you. Can I just ask - what do you do with it now? If you framed that, would the colours rub off on the glass? How do you display a piece like this?
@DeboraStewart3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I would probably frame this with a mat that includes some spacers underneath to keep it away from the glass.

Great video, Debora! If you don’t mind me asking, what brand are your pastel travel cases? I looking to buy one and would appreciate the tip. Thanks!

I have bought all pastel boxes from Dakota Pastel Fine Art. Great supplies for pastel artists.

Deborah, I own two of your videos, and have watched a number of your You Tube videos. I like your work, because you are more a mixed media artist, as I think I am ... at least trying to be. I just recently took a workshop at Dakota Arts from Tony Allain, and I love his work, too, but the experience made me realize I am really more a mixed media artist, but love infusing pastel into my work. Could you please tell me if you ever use sprays on your pastel mixed media work, or do you always mount your mixed media behind glass? I would LOVE a way to do more pastel work, but not have to mount behind glass. Thanks in advance!

I frame all of my pastels under glass even though I use many different materials. The top layer is all pastel and needs the protection of glass.

Hi Deborah, are you aware what you say is written along when you speak, and when you mention Nu pastels they write new pastels?
@DeboraStewart3 жыл бұрын
I had no idea they did that!

Hi Debora, excuse the question but are they oil or chalk pastels? Thank you so much.
