Mend-It for life 🤙🏼. Been using it for a while and has saved me countless baits. Once I’ve repaired the tear I also like to apply a thin coat over the seam.

Great information I already use Mend-it for my bass swimbaits. But forget to take it with when I go to the coast. But I always put a Bic lighter in all of my tackle boxes and use it to melt mend torn plastics.

Matt, thank you for a great video. We’re glad you like our Mend-it soft bait glue. We came out with Mend-it in 2008 while Spike-it copied us around 2014. Let me know when you need another bottle of Mend it Will.

Ive used good ole super glue for years.. works good enough. I tried both and they work the same IMHO. I use Zman usually, so I dont have worry.

I can’t wait to see the results. You should also try with the Dr. Juice. To see if that affects the bond?

I doubt any of them will fall apart just from being out in the water, but I wonder how well they’ll stand up to a big fish striking them. I bet the glued and repaired section is just as strong as the rest of the lure though. Even if you just got one more fish out of each them it’s still worth it, anyway.

Cool products but do they make the lure smell to the fish? Y'all taught us that scent matters to fish so it's a good question. I like the idea of making Frankenstein baits out of old torn up lures.

At about 50 cents per bomber I’m more likely to throw it away then spend the time and money to “mend-it”. YMMV
