I don't feel beautiful 😢 Im waiting for my social worker to let my kids come home. I had a bad nervous breakdown with suicidal tendancies but I'm still here barely holding on but I've still got a grip on something. I'm trying really hard every day. Thankyou for this, I find the rain extremely calming for my autism. I don't really sleep so thankyou 😊

Where I live, rain is a rare blessing. Even when it does come, I often miss its gentle whispers or only catch it while I’m resting. Where I live, we used to call it "Vancouver Sunshine" (city is Vancouver, "sunshine" as a joke because it was always rain and so rarely sun) This last year - I haven't checked in a few months - but I know that at least through the summer, we had (from the reports I was reading - *always make sure to check up on things you hear on the internet, no matter how confident the person sounds*) we had gotten only a very small (it seemed like about half) the rain we typically get, and in the last 10 years, many have been record heat after record heat. It's doubly dangerous because the increase in heat has come so suddenly that few places are designed with cooling in mind, nor can anyone but the wealthy afford AC. My place - and many like it - have been like ovens each summer. I've always loved the rain (unless I had to work in it, and even then only if the shift was long). It feels to me... relaxing, healing, healthy, clean, invigorating, life-bringing, and in every way good. I also have to say that rain relaxation channels have been THE least toxic and most ... kind/caring/helpful/loving... parts of the internet i've ever found. We all - or I will speak for myself - just want everyone to be free, happy, healthy, relaxed, and joyful. For these things to come to your loved ones as well. Breathe deeply, live mindfully (you'd be amazed how good your food is if you chew slowly and without wolfing things down!). All the best things to everyone.
