I made my own version of a drop based off the peel drop (I believe that was what my pitching coach from 8 years ago taught me but I could be wrong) that works for me. So the 'U' part of the seam should be facing outside of your body, and you hold it like you're making an "okay" sign (thumb and pointer finger pinched together to make a circle, other fingers lay underneath the ball). Then pitch it like a fastball and if you release it with the right timing, it gets a lot of movement.

Tysm I have a pitching coach but I only see her once a week (she’s literally so good) for less than a hour. So it’s kind of difficult to fit all of the things that she wants to teach me in. So thanks this is very helpful!

I know these are old, but it would be really nice in future videos to show the end result of pitches.

Can you have a camera showing where the softball is suppose to land after you pitch the ball.

Is this thrown from a windmill base or whip? Almost looks like a windmill pitch.

Hi, clear and concise, but really would like to see your target, to confirm your pitches are spot on, and, maybe in SLO MO, to watch and track it from behind the pitcher to verify the accuracy of your techniques-my 14 year old in Australia needs fine tuning, as she is one of the best in her age group in this state, and i find your explanations ideal for a kid.

The drop ball has been my hardest pitch to throw especially the turn over. I just don’t feel comfortable with my arm turning over which scares me bc I feel like i could pull something. But I just feel so uncomfortable throwing it. but my pitch usually doesn’t make it to the plate or just rolls. Or I’m just doing it wrong Any tips ?

It might not be reaching the plate because u are turning your wrist too soon so try spinning the ball later :)

I think it would be very helpful, for this great video, to include some footage of a behind the picture view of the pitcher in action, along with the resulting falling path of the ball. Perhaps even in a separate PIP (picture in picture) at the top left of the video, so both the 7 o'clock angle (seen in the video), and the 12 o'clock angle can be followed concurrently. Sort of like what Carlos below asks.
