Man has been using technology since the dawn of time. Computers are culimonation of many different scientific fields and hundreds of years of advancement. So to complain that we have too much technology is just, well, not very specific or interesting and comes from the mind of a layman with no appreciation for scientific thought. The actual problem is we have too many humans.

Oh man, all that re-Captcha I'm not a robot is driving me nuts this year. Click the photos that have a bus or crosswalk in them. I can't log into Amazon, Google, or anything without this test and now it's dependent on using Android phone to verify and authorize log ons. I guess Cyber security has gone to a new level in 2020. Level 2021 is surely quite a tricky advanced level of the game.

@@Touketsuken Business software installed by IT departments works in that way running algorithms with strict parameters intended to trip up unauthorized users where security is high to protect sensitive data. A wrong password or error often triggers a lock out so employee contacts boss or IT guy to be unlocked. Malware can be a, 'bot,' that targets end users to lock them out of accounts, steal data, and ultimately money. Windows 10 has been pretty good about keeping malware and bots out that were a terrible machine slow down problem 15 to 20 years ago in earlier versions. VPN's are used to encrypt data and spoof country connecting from, but slows down connection speed. This is where any device spying on your connection can't make out what your sending and receiving for only your machine and the server you're connecting to has the decryption code and then you can set your country to almost any on the world map. Sounds complicated, (and it is a very complex process inside the computer) but it's super easy for us to do.

Even though it's not Dennis De young, the other guy (I hear) does a great job with this song, which is included in the song list for the 23/24 tour. I am excited to hear it even tho I will admit, it's by far NOT my favorite Styx song...I'm more of a Man in the Wilderness, Boat on the River type gypsy soul :) Love you Tommy Shaw forever and ever!

But Japan is Ok. Still one of the 3 strongest economies. If it was not for the opressing government and the slaves, China would never overcome Japan. When the robotics finally become relevant and affordable for anyone, Japan will return to the second position, after USA. Don't believe in China and India, they are not free countries. It's not just about economy, it's about humam development too. Japan is a very equal country. The people in general are rich, like in USA. The culture plays a very important role too.

To help people that are reading, this song ( whole album, actually) tells a story! To sum it up, Mr. Roboto is about a famous rock musician named Kilroy who get thrown into prison because in the future America is a dystopia run by fascist tyrants, who outlaw and ban music. This was bad news for Kilroy, because this meant he was to be thrown into prison. Honestly I'm sure there is more to this story but thats the overgeneralised plot. The prison is completely run by, well, robots. Kilroy, (Little fun fact about the album, the title is called "Kilroy Was Here" which in this case has two meanings. One meaning is the reference to one of the first ever "memes" It was used back in the 1940's by soldiers of WWII. The other meaning is of course, referring to our protagonist of this rock opera, Kilroy.) Kilroy knocks out a robot guard when it enters his prison cell, and disguises himself inside the robot. (Hence "Somewhere to hide") Then he manages to escape prison in the suit. Thats why he keeps saying "Thank you" over and over. Thats the story of Mr. Roboto. Its not the whole Kilroy Was Here album, but its a piece of it.

Brave New World was their last album together. The turmoil of filming Kilroy Was Here tore the band apart. Dennis also suffered a medical condition back then preventing him from touring. Lawrence Gowan was a formidable replacement for both vocals and his piano style plus he proved himself when he fronted the Brave New World tour instead of Dennis.

@@danieldonoso5371 amigo entendistes mal.

Music videos in the 1980s were awesome. They didn't have the technology we have today to make everything look super clean and perfect but they were a lot more creative, they did a lot more with what they had and they usually told a story, they were like short movies.

The song tells part of the story of Robert Orin Charles Kilroy (ROCK), in the rock opera Kilroy Was Here. The song is performed by Kilroy (as played by keyboardist Dennis DeYoung), a rock and roll performer who was placed in a futuristic prison for "rock and roll misfits" by the anti-rock-and-roll group the Majority for Musical Morality (MMM) and its founder Dr. Everett Righteous (played by guitarist James Young). The Roboto is a model of robot which does menial jobs in the prison. Kilroy escapes the prison by overpowering a Roboto prison guard and hiding inside its emptied-out metal shell. When Jonathan Chance (played by guitarist Tommy Shaw) finally meets Kilroy, at the very end of the song, Kilroy unmasks and says "I'm Kilroy! Kilroy!", ending the song.

I always thought it was their best song. It has that new wave sound of the 80s, it is catchy and the lyrics were prophetic with its warnings about the dangers of technology and how it can dehumanize people which is what is literally happening now.
