Do you think nowadays companies still hire fresh graduates? Most of the job descriptions i see nowadays mention experience of at least 2-3 years. Correct me if i am wrong but i need to know if companies still hire fresh graduates? and BTW the podcast was great learned a lot of new things regarding the software industry. Keep up the good work.

they don't. You have to have experience (even freelance) just to be considered. Let alone getting 'interviewed'. Simple demand and supply, but even after all this, you need networking to be able to land an interview. People in line to get exploited at a mere PKR 30k/m

nowadays the definition of "fresh" is totally changed. A job with demand of fresh grads asks for minimum 2 years of experience.

Thanks alot Ehmad Sir, that was a wonderfull podcast and I learned alot of things. A little about me, I am intermediate passed mern stack developer currently working at a company in Lahore. Although I have gone more than 3 years in the field I have never got myself under a mentor or a lead who could take pain to guide or teach me something and I have never faced code reviews which is putting me way behind my competition. Through your channel I am getting alot of knowledge and guidence. Please keep bringing such knowledge packed and productive podcasts because there are many people like me in the industry.

Ehmad bhai, i'm your junior from SEECS. Your work is good and unique, we need more people to guide youngsters as i'm a victim of lack of career counceling. Secondly, please take my little contructive input: i feel in a podcast, the host should let the guest speak most of the time, i believe when host starts giving his input alongside the guest's input, that takes away much of the charm from a podcast. The same issue i feel from Muzammil's podcast. The host's speaking time should not be more than 10% i believe, and very rarely he should share his ideas. The guest should be talking and sharing most of the time, even if the host knows more than guest. Again loving your work, hope you'll not mind.

Please ask questions. If some employees don't have relevant degrees like Bscs or IT graduate They are graduated with BBA, MBA, etc other fields Are they fit in the software house. Because jobs are 99% are for CS or IT graduate Never seen h Data analyst, Financial analyst, or other fields in software house. Why they are not working in there field. There is a huge potential for future growth.. 2024-40

please consider my question: a man who complete his graduation with above 3.5 cgpa with good technical skills. but for some reason he/she could not join any software house but did some certification and freelancing project in up to 3 years after graduation. then how he should approach software houses? as an experience or just fresh gradustes. he/she has technical skills but could not able to work in reputed company in the past 3 years after graduation.

@Ehmad Zubair sir I have a question. What if I, a fresh graduate already works with a certain tech stack (for example Flutter) who has also done internships and made multiple projects and I apply for a junior or associate role at a company, will the expectations be same for me as discussed in this video or would things be different? and what if I want to work in Flutter for the time being, will the company train him forcefully and train him for a different tech stack (for example react native)? I know that learning a different tech stack is not like a bad thing but if someone loves working with a tech stack and want to dedicate more years to it to become a expert of it, will he still get taught a different tech stack for no reason just because the company has more projects in it and lacks employees for that role? I don't mean this to show the lack of ability to adapt, but if I want to become a T shaped engineer in the future, and I want to become a expert in Flutter while having breadth of knowledge of other frameworks and technologies, would I still be taught a different framework by a company while neglecting my existing skill, as soon as I join that company? if something was wrong with my question, then please let me know

Hi sir, I have very important question to ask. Now a days, as you know, fsc-premedical students are also allowed to take part in Computer Science degree. What do you say, is it good or nor, for the company to have an engineer who learned from scratch in the university. This becomes the main reason that students often hate their profession or their life. Please ponder some light on this MAIN issue of today. I shall be very thankful.
