The one feature I'd really like to see from Nothing is the ability to block access to Airplane Mode and volume controls from the lock screen. Instead of removing these options completely, the phone should require unlocking before making such changes. Samsung already offers this feature, and it would help prevent theft, as it's currently too easy to put the phone in Airplane Mode or silence it, making it harder to track.

I actually really appreciate Nothing OS being an almost clean Android with no unnecessary bloatware. the only App I would like to have is a notes app, google keeps isn't great although it's nice to see a company involving their fans in their creation process. Keep up the good work!

1:33 I totally agree with the Nothing Design team here. NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE DOTS. And this isn't directed at Ali specifically. A lot of people in the community, and other design-focused channels on KZbin, seem to think, "If it ain't dot-matrix, it ain't Nothing." Too many dots makes the screen too busy, and harder to read. I think the Nothing design team has done a really good job so far in towing the line. Even in what little we've of OS 3.0.

Important feature to add! Please add battery health features like slow charge and charge limit (80% or something). I bought my phone 1 on launch and am still using it, eagerly waiting for the Nothing Phone 3. My GF has the Phone 2. So far there is nothing that would make me look at other phone manufacturers again... Expect Samsung and Asus battery health features... Pls pls pls add those to you phone so it is perfect! My battery has gotten very slightly but noticeable worst (after a lot of use) Srill rocking my ear 1s and 2s Definitely getting the ear open. Love your work and keep going strong!

@@bewluga_15 Just checked on my Phone (1) running Nothing OS 2.6 and no updates available I didn't see that feature. I'm gonna check on the phone 2 too. But if they really added that feature on the phone 2a I hope it comes to the older phones too. Man that would be amazing. Since the beginning that's the only feature I'm missing. And you can say it stopes charging at 80%? You're not talking about googles adaptive charging?

I wanted to share a couple of suggestions to enhance the scrolling experience on your devices, which could be implemented through a software update. The first suggestion is regarding the touch and scroll interaction. Currently, when we swipe on the screen, it stops rather abruptly. It would greatly improve the user experience if, with a light touch, the screen could glide smoothly and gradually come to a stop, instead of halting immediately. This would create a more fluid interaction, similar to how it feels on iOS devices, where the content continues to move for a while before gently slowing down and stopping on its own. Secondly, I believe adding a bounce-back effect at the end of scrollable content would significantly enhance the overall look and feel. This effect, combined with smooth transitions and animations, would make scrolling more engaging and polished, providing immediate feedback to the user without being too harsh or mechanical. My two biggest pet peeves with nothing os 2.0 was that there is no native gallery, and the quick settings just seem... Off, i feel like they aren't very smooth to navigate (it works pretty well when you get used to it) and just not very in line with the rest if the OS. Really glad nothing listens to customer feedback and both of these issues are fixed in 3.0 :) Super excited for the way the company is headed, you have my full support! I even managed to get my mother to get Phone (2a) and my brother has the CMF phone 1, and another mate of mine als has Phone (2a) :)
