Thanks, good instruction. May I ask how to connect with ODBC instead of using dat file.

Thank you. LoadRunner VuGen supports ODBC. In order to import parameter data from a db, you can write a query using Microsoft Query or write a SQL statement. After the data is imported, it is saved as a .dat file. You can then use it as a parameter file.

But if you record a script using wwww.skyscanner.es website por example, you have 2 type of dates: I parametrize 2015-04-09 for example, but in many URL´s in script appears also as 150429 so how can you parametrize that?. Its the same value but from "2015-04-09" to "150409" so maybe asigning a variable to the parametrized value and then extracting that data?

Dani g We need not extract the data values at all, just note the data format. As the test automator, we need to provide the values to the Vuser script. We need to specify the data values in the same format as expected by a URL. We can enter our test data values in the Submit Data Step Properties dialog box. Thank you.

Hi, which website did you test? What is the error message that you get in VuGen replay? Please see my VuGen videos (# 3 and 4 in my LoadRunner playlist) first. The link is kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3LOdn1jeNqgbMk
