How To Apply HongKong Visa from India || HongKong Pre Arrival Registration ✅ kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWjUiaR5gdt-f7c

HK is one of the best and safest cities in the world. I have been living here since 1996. Immigration will definitely check all documents thoroughly before they let you in. Reason why Indian citizens are in trouble is mainly due to so many Bangladeshis getting into India via Agartala and other border districts and there are agents in Kolkata to get these illegal immigrants, an Adhaar, PAN ration card etc and then they apply for Indian passport to travel overseas and stay illegally or claim refugee status. This is the reason a genuine visitor from India is also suffering. Our on arrival 3 months Visa got reduced to 15 days and then now to this pre arrival approval formality. HK immigration caught this illegal activity and informed Indian Consulate many years ago. Don’t blame HK immigration for all this bad experiences. We are equally responsible for this.

Amazing video! Being a person living in HK, I can say that the immigration here is the smoothest in the world if you are a resident. We can enter the country like we enter an office building by just tapping the card. At the same time people holding PAR - especially from few countries(including India) and from few Indian states can have horrible experience. My friends complaining about this to me stating this is due to discrimination. But I can surely say, the immigration officers here are so polite in general. This issue is purely because of few people who crossed their limits as a tourist in a foreign country. So, - get the PAR done well in advance. - book a valid ticket to and from and hotel. - if you are going to macau, you can book the ferry in advance too and have the ticket. Thats all you need. HK is surely a good place to travel

Hi, I have been to HK a few times. Once, I made a side trip to Macau and re-entered into HK without any problems. My travel history was not that great either. What you mentioned is absolutely correct - few bad elements from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh cause problems for genuine visitors. But, there is a different problem here. They let you in without any problems when you first landed in HK from BLR. They could have interrogated you there as well but they did not. Although there are various reports of people from South Asian countries being interrogated when they first land into HK including Indians. But they thought you are a genuine traveller and they let you in. The reason I believe you faced problems while returning from Macau is because that trip is kind of a visa run. A visa run is a technique where a person visits a neighbouring country and re-enters to reset the numbers of days that he/she is allowed to stay. For example, you first enter HK, get 14 days to stay, you stay for 12 days and go to Macau in the morning , return by the evening, the HK immigration has to give you another 14 days to stay by law if they decide to let you in. Because you stayed for 12 days previously, they cannot give you just 2 more days to complete the 14 day cycle. It has to be 14 days again. That's the legal framework they have in place. Theoretically, you can do this on and on till your PAR expires and be there in HK for about 5-6 months, all you have to do is, make a side trip to Macau at the end of every 14-day period. Anyway, great content! Wishing you good luck for your future travels 👍 Have fun.

Similar aspect happened to me during a solo trip in Indonesia. Immigration officers needed a bribe. But, i directly told them to contact Indian embassy. Later, they left me without any questions. If we are scared, then they take that as an advantage.

I have been settled in Hong Kong since 2011, there are few issues (Over stay, crime, drugs etc...) mainly from South Asian countries, HK immigration people are very good and respectable, yes they do check all documents and confirm with Hotels/airlines, don't have to worry for real tourists, please carry all required documents, this will make you clean entry and exit.

Well I recently visited Hong Kong as well, but I was travelling solo with PAR and the immigration held me at the airport, They took nearly 1 hour and then let me go, it was really bad experience as after that I visited thailand again solo, but they didn't ask me anything and simply stamped my passport and let me go. I think a lot of Indians do overstay so immigration really checks South Asians more than other people and it actually feels bad that we have the reputation of over staying and just not following local rules of the country we visit.

Brilliant explanation . However, this is not the problem of you visiting Macao and coming back. Honestly its just the HK government and immigration doing their job. Anyone returning multiple times will be a concern for the HK immigration considering you have left the city and came back a day later. Its understandable. My uncle works and lives in china and has a valid PAR, comes and goes to and from HK a lot, and gets stopped often. But once everything is clear, they are happy to let him go. HK immigration is honestly one of the best i have ever experienced, having lived here all my life. But again, your bookings and history did make your case a lot more interesting you favour.

Probably your nationality is the issue not the immigration authorities of any countries. Don't want to bring this up. You people are infamous in Hong Kong and other major airports and immigration counters due to immigration issues. I worked there and can testify that only people from your country would bump into such troubles. No one else, NO ONE. Because your passport is basically worth less than the value of a draft paper that you guys basically need a visa going to basically every single country on earth, and have a wonderful record of refused entry due to multiple different reasons. So now you know my friend, please get on with this, and stop complaining, while you are going to somebody else's place as a tourist. If you are not liking it, then "have a good one".

You cannot generalize everyone based on the region! I think this comment is too racist in my opinion and you need to have more maturity to realise that because of a few individuals the whole nation doesn't become weak!
@loedward13084 ай бұрын
@@SoftwareTraveller if based on intuition, yes I am racist. If based on experience and statistics, that’s fact. You have no idea how troubling Indian travellers are. I don’t mind listing them out. 1. wheelchair: each flight coming from India is filled with wheelchair passengers who can walk properly and not old. The only reason that are spamming this is because they are “tired”, afraid of getting lost in the airports and it is free. Passengers who really need them usually gotta wait an hour to either leave the airport or go to their connecting flight. (Average wheelchair passengers per my past experience for a DHLHKG flight, there would be around 40-50 healthy pax asking for wheelchair.) 2. “PAR”: not sure if this is correct term. Half of the Indian travellers tends to either intentionally or accidentally fill out the wrong or false information applying for this thing, and once they arrived they got found out and refused. And then the conclusion usually coming out from their mouths is, which is same as yours sir, because of racism. How sweet. 3. Immigration issue. A large chuck of INAD or inadmissible traveller is from your country. They are denied by the country of their destination, and sent back to HK. However they were unable to enter HK due to either Immigration reason too or PAR problem. And 90% of the time, these people would blame the airline for not helping them or the immigration being discriminatory. 4. Transit. When a large group of traveller needs to catch a tight connecting flight, they will stay so close to the ground staff who help them go through check points and escort them to their exact departure gates. But 99% of the time, a large chuck of Indian travellers would go missing as they either went to bathroom or 7-11 or buy souvenirs from the stores, even if they were told not to. How selfish. And then they miss their flights and get to wait days in airside as all the flights are full and this would usually go back to my point#3. (And I assure you this isn’t a single incident) This is based on real experience my friend. If calling me racist would make you feel better, then I am mature and racist perhaps. 😂 #this happens basically every single day across airportSSSS. And it’s not just 1 or 2 pax who act this way.
@loedward13084 ай бұрын
@@SoftwareTraveller How is my comment racist if it is based on factual experience and stat. Below is the typical traveling behavior of your countrymen. 1) Wheelchair: Normally there would be 40-50 wheelchair requests for each of the flight coming from your country. The majority of the wheelchair users are unfortunately healthy and not old. the only reason that they are using this is because they are afraid of getting lose in the airport, claiming that they are too "tired" to walk, and more importantly able to use it for free. Whereas those who really need this service need to wait for hours, before your fellows are all clear and escorted to their connecting flight. How selfish and unfair. 2) PAR Issue: A lot of your countrymen are either intentionally or accidently providing false or untrue information when applying the PAR. And once found at the immigration checkpoint over there in HKG, there were either refused entry or taken to secondary inspection. The conclusion, hilariously, that usually comes out from your countrymen's mouth is that they were treated "unfairly" or the immigration authority is being discriminatory against them. How sweet. 3) Refused entry: A large chuck of passengers (or we call pax) who got refused (INAD) is of Indian nationality as result of different immigration reasons. They were refused entry to their final destination(s) and needed to return to HKG. But as a result of refused entry, most of them would be unable to enter Hong Kong. At that point, your people would interestingly blame the airline staff for not helping them deal with the immigration. How ridiculous. 4) Tight connection: When there is a tight connection, all passengers going to those flights would be escorted to their respective boarding gates so that they don't miss their flights. Most would follow the rules and stay close to the airport staff, except for one nationality - Your people. A large chuck of them would go missing because they either walk 0.1 mile per hour as if they don't fucking care, need to go to toilet without notice, go to 7-11 for drinks, or need to buy souvenirs from stores. And ending up, most of these people would further delay the flights or miss the flight. This is extremely unfair to those travelers who is rushing like hell. And for those who miss the flight, they would need to stay in the airside for hours or days because THEY WERE UNABLE TO OBTAIN THE PAR due to the powerfulness of your passport. And this would bring us back to scenario (2) or (3) or both. And interesting, they would once again blame the ground staff for not helping them leading to their getting lost. How convenient. I don't mind giving you more example. I know what you are gonna say my friend - THIS ISN'T THE MAJOITY. But i am sorry if these people constitute 30-40% of your gigantic travelling population, then your people are already good enough to be categorized as trouble makers. If calling me a racist makes you feel less embarrassed or happier, then i am a "mature" racist. Hope this gives you a bunch or some senses of what your countrymen really are in airports. Period.

@@loedward1308 India has 1.8 billion people jus because of few people whole nation isn't bad! If you don't get the point then its upto you! I am not like that and people whom I know arent the same as well! So say what you got to say!

@@SoftwareTraveller 1) Your country do not have 1.8 billion people --------> Correct answer 1.417 billion (2022)' 2) Assuming only better people can travel from your country. Those passengers and their wonderful behaviors represent the middle class of India? 3) All my points (1-4) happen everyday and has a good sample size. So please stop spamming the excuse of "wow we have 1.8 billion people". 4) I don't "say what you got to say" but I tell what truth that needs to be told.

its unforunate that it happend to you. I visited HK and MAC as well. My travel route was the same. I flew from Kempegowda to HK via CATHAY Then i went to MAC via Bus route , returned back to HK via Ferry BUT on the same day.... i didn't stayed over night... and officer just asked me to show my return ticket i showed them in my phone and that's it i was allowed to leave. Infact my PAR had a spelling mistake not in name but in Place of birth but i think officer overlooked it :-P maybe i just picked the right counter ( I was lucky that day ) and you were not :-D

Well it's more to do than with luck to be honest, this wasn't just me i thought the same it was just me but when I spoke to people there and when you read the comment section here it's inevitable that this is the generic tone for Indians when travelling abroad
