Wayne's story is so real. One tragic event as a child was life altering for him as with so many others. I've noticed this pattern with some of the other interviews on this channel. Wayne, you are going to be fine moving forward because you learned an important lesson...Believe in yourself. I learned some things listening to you.

I hardly ever comment on these videos. I am more of a “ghost watcher”, but Wayne’s story really touched a special part of my heart. Wayne is a very well spoken man. You can just hear the hurt in the soft way he speaks. I wish I can go back and hug “kid Wayne”. So much pain he went through as a child. As a parent, we are supposed to protect our kids. I cannot imagine what his little heart felt going through all of these emotions and tragedies alone. I pray he finds peace in his life. 🤍 Btw- Even after his rough life, he looks amazing for his age. We are all rooting for you, Mr. Wayne!

Child abuse (more specifically child molestation, but not limited to) is like murdering their victims. Murdering their innocence, their hopes and their dreams, and leaving them an empty shell filled with guilt and shame. It has an everlasting affect on their psyche, their being and their relationships (sometimes the lack thereof, of the latter). It is despicable. The path that Wayne took is so very normal. It’s a symptom of the problem. The man Wayne is today is truly a success story. Wayne, you’re a beautiful person. I am in awe of the man you became. They were trying to prevent that. Trying to prevent the strong, forgiving, gentle man you are. The place you are at in your life is solely because of you and your drive, and I find nothing more admirable than that.

I’ve been thinking the same way as Wayne lately. Followed this channel years ago and have always wanted to help others because everyone deserves a chance. Being sober, connecting with myself and being the “real me” have allowed that to happen. Very moving interview. He talked of his past and how it relates to his life path with a sincere heart and clarity, i find it to be very motivational. Learning to self reflect is very difficult. by speaking the truth, not just HIS truth, gives him the power he needs to overcome. And by speakingly so eloquently, so candidly, i think gives all of us a bit of power too. So many of us out here in the world dont give a second thought to how spirituality can reshape meaning in our lives. I have faith he will work his 12 step program and perhaps even grow to become an excellent sponsor to those in need of guidance. Forgiveness starts with self. We dont judge you Wayne, only God can.

This one was one of the hardest. Because my ex husband was molested and never told his mom and his mom thought he was basically crazy because of how he acted. He self medicates to this day and just could not get help for the trauma because it was too much for him. I HATE whoever it was did that to him. I don’t know the person- never met them (it wasn’t family). They’re a huge reason we didn’t make it- marriage wise. I hate that boys being molested is much less talked about than girls. I hate that likely feeling like they needed to be “strong” is why they never said anything. Watching this man cry about his mom made my heart literally hurt. He is too pure. There’s so much pain. He never, ever deserved what his dad did. It disgusts me that a father would do that to their son. I wish I could hug Wayne and tell him that he is no less due to what happened to him. I believe in him and I believe he can get sober. I’m also a recovering addict so in that aspect I also relate to. It’s so often that we self medicate to forget, numb, ignore, and cope with trauma we endured especially in our youth. Wayne- if you’re reading this. I believe in you! You are worth it. Take it one day at a time. Forgive yourself and reclaim the remainder of your life ❤ sending him so much love and hope. He is an excellent teller of his story and you can tell he’s very intelligent- he’s just in emotional pain.

Trauma, and holding trauma in seriously causes inner turmoil- I know this 1stHand. Thank you so much for your honesty Wayne. It's took me 35 years to talk about the crap when I was kid that happened. I turn 40 Jan 6th... part of me still stuck as that 4 year old boy tho.... Anyways, Respect sir, I hope this story encourages someone to open up about the things that are eating them alive. I learned alot from you Wayne, I think alot of us will. Please come back and give us a catch up soon. Much love.

Wayne’s story has really touched my heart! God bless this sweet man! His mother forgave him, she’s with him still, watching over him! I’m so proud of him for getting sober and sharing his story with us! I’m sure it’s hard to open up to strangers! God bless him! My heart goes out to the children who were abused! It sickens me that a parent would do that to a child! It’s not their fault at all, but so hard to get through without therapy! I wish you all the best, Wayne!!! ♥️♥️

I am impressed with Wayne’s self awareness. He’s so articulate. I live in Shreveport and am a Certified Addiction Counselor. This was an excellent interview. I can see Wayne’s telling his story was cathartic for him. It shows that even a short time in recovery can begin to assist a person in their healing. Thank you Wayne for your beautiful expression of humanity.

This has to be the best interview you've done so far 💓. I've never resonated with someone's words so much, the middle of the interview till the end felt like something I've always wanted to hear myself say out loud but never had the self love to do so. Thank you Mark and Wayne for opening my eyes to my current way of living, and how you truly do need to figure out how to remove yourself out of your way so you can be the person you are truly meant to be. Such a wonderful thing to hear, experience, and feel 🙌
