Two things jumped out at me: 1. I worked in the arms industry myself for about 13 years, and when it comes to ammunition, every single case that comes out of a state arsenal, and pretty much everything made privately has a headstamp or factory stamp on it. The information these stamps give varies, but usually its going to be factory of origin and year of production. Chinese and indeed, all combloc ammunition had a headstamp scheme that was well understood by western intelligence throughout the cold war. Not to mention that Chinese ammo that was sold commercially in the US was made at state arsenals so the factory stamps would be no secret. So when he describes simply changing the boxes to conceal the origin of the ammo, I immediately knew they were going to be caught because there was simply no way that the ammo would not be inspected on arrival and the headstamps cross referenced. The military authorities probably knew from the day it arrived where it was from and simply didn't care. 2. The New York times always shows their journalistic integrity.

He's authentic. I started watching this interview fully expecting to click-away, but not so. He is super intelligent, and super interesting…. Most importantly, the dick would know that too. It is wonderful performance art, everyone pretending to care for this dick and the dick pretending to believe all of his family & "friends" I have met these individuals more times than I care to remember in my life. Every person in their lives are bought and paid for. At the end of their lives, these stingy and ruthless individuals are only a vessel of wealth for family members to squabble over the still warm corpse. Something to think about while you sing the praises of the qualities of being stingy and ruthless 😉

I know. His charm almost makes you forget how dissociated he is from the fact that he is profiting off of blood and carnage. Somehow we are all connected to misery and profiteering. We make a profit for a group of investors at worse, or directly profit from, like David, from the steaming anger and hatred of a political party to at least intimidate and at worse physically destroy, an opponent. He clearly is living good from this life. His mannerisms seem to show ease and leisure.
