I brought tampons for first time bcoz I wanted to give it a try & after months of avoiding it. I finally tried it I'm still not sure if I have inserted correctly or not (bcoz it's my first time)I can't feel it tho.for everyone asking if it's hurts or is discomfortable no it's not.everything feels fine , atleast for now PS: I'll edit this comment after 6 hours (after the tampon is removed) Ok so my first time experience was pretty good I would really switch to tampons if I weren't freaking out abt forgetting to remove it (TTS syndrome)& if it wasn't so expensive in India (when compared to sanitary pads) overall I choose pads but now I don't have worry if I got get into water or go on vacation finally no need of cancelling plans 🏖️ Rate: 9/10

Even I bought my first set of tampons today! I will say though that while normal sanitary pads are cheap, the biodegradable variety (made of plant fibers as compared to plastic) are about the same price as tampons. I've bought both and plan to alternate.

Well, you learn something new every day. I had no clue India lacked tampon commercials as recently as 2017! We see pad and tampon ads every day in Canada, and laser treatments for women's menopausal health gripes are advertised on the radio all day - (even at supper time, which kinda gets me, tbh. LOL) So I'm glad you guys have finally got that kind of advertising! Talking openly about women's health issues will be empowering. :) And thank god girls won't be worrying tampons alter their virginity in any way! All the best :)

I have been using pro b tampons for 5 years and seriously tampons didn't even make me feel that i am having periods. They are very helpful when you are travailing and you can't change your pads in every 3-4 hours because tampons can absorb blood up to 8 hours and sofy tampons has and advantage of applicator which helps to insert tampon easily so i am looking forward to use them now!!

I have tried the product and it is as effective and better in utility than pads. But there is so much plastic wastage. Each product is wrapped in plastic wrappers and includes applicators and I just had to opt for pads not because they are 100% echo friendly but comparatively generates lesser wastage.

Afsha Khan hey tampon will not flow anywhere. I find that sometimes my sofy tampon leaks through on the 2nd day when my flow is heaviest. I use a panty liner always when I use tampon. If your flow is too heavy you can use a pad for extra safety. But for me the fear of staining is much less in case of tampon. Even if it leaks through it doesn't go everywhere. Earlier when I was using pad, I always had the fear of side stains. That's the main reason I prefer tampons now.
