I just ordered this book. I learned so much from your compost book. I just got soil testing results back from two of my gardens. This will help me to interpret the report and get me started for success next spring.

This books give scientific information about soil, a very informative book. I enjoyed reading it.

Congratulations on the book! I didn't see an option for signed copies. Any idea yet for that?

Shipping costs are too high here in Canada for direct shipping. Sorry, no other way to provide signed copies.

Has the book been peer reviewed by individuals with credentials
@Gardenfundamentals12 жыл бұрын
no, but the underlaying science comes from published papers that have been peer reviewed.

@@Gardenfundamentals1 please provide that information. You cannot have it both ways and I’ve seen you unload on people who don’t supply the peer reviewed documentation. I would have thought you would have made peer reviewed science paramount in this book

@@bluejay3945You are correct. The word “science” implies research and citations should be provided.

@@Robert-vh2cl This guy conveniently can cherry pick information because he knows that there just isn’t the $ to fund long term, peer reviewed studies on the effects of synthesis fertilizers. He also conveniently ignores recent research that is peer reviewed such as this study published by the National Institute of Health: Soil Chemical and Microbiological Properties Are Changed by Long-Term Chemical Fertilizers That Limit Ecosystem Functioning U cannot have ur both ways: organic and synthetic. He knows that the only way to prove organic practices is by repetitive results. As a gardener u know u can’t control sun, water, plant quality, pests, etc. With so many variables it’s impossible to find the repetition necessary for valid scientific evidence. Remember this guy is Not a soil scientist, agronomist, etc yet he acts like one

@ Yes, there are many KZbin creators who are not critical thinkers, or are either naive or paid shills of the chemical industry, mixing trues with lies. What their motivations are I’m not sure. Many of them are atheists who do not appreciate the perfection of creation. This individual is a big supporter of GMOs, which is an industry no rational individual would support. And it is curious that he would single out Elaine Ingham who had a life altering experience when she realized that GMOs could, if released, eviscerate all plant life and dependents in our ecology.
