Because it's the same reason less than 3% of the world population listens to classical music, society is degenerate and in my opinion, people who cannot actually play an instrument or have dedicated years of doing so literally have no idea what is going on behind the layered tracks. Unappreciated science in a certain respect, alchemy of air, journal of frequencies and the math and timing signatures and harmony layers. Like literally basic music theory is like absent from most listeners of music today which is why in the mainstream music market like literally every song now is recycled scales and certain comfortable lyric phrases heard since the 80s, don't believe me yet, listen to new country and the recycled material really sticks out bad. Music dying, kids aren't taking time to master instruments, everything going digital, consumerist, fast food society driven by vanity and instant gratification and where everything is at the touch of our fingers thanks to Google... etc sorry about the opinion as I'm sure it didn't make much sense, I'm not the most eloquent typer or speaker but trust me if we we chilling I'd be able to explain it better with instrument in my hand. What always blows my mind on a side note are those old time composers who completed a symphonic movement by time they were 19 and 1.5hour long musical compositions and they could play literally any instrument, also the composers of old were inspired by nature, some of them used melodies from the birds they would hear and it would inspire their music. Yeass music is either changing or dead or idk and it's very sad to me maybe I just feel like I'm the only one who sees it but im prolly not. Either way I hold on to my own music to get through life and just to feel normal, it's very important like an extension of my soul.

A buddy from work came up to me with an intense look on his face, said he’d been listening to a Spotify playlist and heard this, he’d been bad for telling me about so called good songs and I was sceptical as hell, he walked off back to his machine, 5 mins go by and I decide to give him the benefit of the doubt, haven’t been this awestruck with a song from a band I’ve never heard before. I was stunned to see how long they’ve been around and their back catalogue, needless to say it’s been a hell of a rabbit hole. If Liam ever rolls up on me with that look on his face again I know I’m in for a treat!

@@norgepalm7315 I guess they didn't listen to the albums after that, because if you want a melodic Soilwork you definitely need to listen the albums after Figure Number Five. By the way, The Panic Broadcast is one of the best albums of all times - and melodic as hell

Honestly a great song. Absolutely sick of the people whining over how it's not like the older albums, I see it everywhere and it just gets tiring to see the same complaints over and over. I like to find something good in nearly every song I listen to, whether it's from an old album or a new one. I know it's not true, but I can't help but feel like these people don't even give the song a chance when they listen to it. They're expecting older sound and are disappointed, but I may be wrong. Regardless, I found this song great, yes repetitive, but that doesn't mean bad. I feel like repetition is best when the repeated part is catchy or lyrics wise are singable. I'm rambling on, but that's just some of my thoughts

Are you kidding? The last 3 albums are all in the same realm. They all sound more similar to each other than any of their other albums do in consecutive order. So theyve been sounding the "same" longer than they ever have in that respect. How many times are we going to say that this album contains more "melancolhic melodies" than previous albums. Hes been saying that since TPB. You guys contradict yourselves. And so what if I want another dark and aggressive album like APP part 2??!

@@siriusvittorio2099 you said your sick of people whining about why dont they keep making the same albums, basically. And also basically saying that they are "evolving and cant make the same album forever and ever, why cant people accept change, blah blah blah.........". I see these type of comments all the time. What I am saying is that, ever since The Panic Broadcast, it seems to me that they are doing just that; making the same sounding albums over and over again. Yet you dont seem to notice or complain about that, since it must be the style that you prefer. So you would be hypocritical to bash someone who wants to hear more albums like Steelbath Suicide and Chainheart Machine (even though no other albums sound like those )..........when in reality, the last 3 albums they put out all have the same sound.

Kalin Hinkov it WAS on Spotify then suddenly one day I stopped being able to hear the female voices and I was like wtf are my headphones broken? But it’s gone from this video too, and I tried it with other headphones, still gone! No clue what happened. I loved the backing vocals though I thought it added so much to it. Oh well.

Acoridng to Metal Archives (and Wikipedia): The iTunes version in some counties contains the single version of track 7 (featuring guest vocals by Alissa White-Gluz) instead of the regular version of the song.
