It's only been since Overwatch 2 came out that I realized the OW characters are slightly modeled after the likeness of their VA (at least a couple features). That's pretty cool.

I guess it's just a coincidence if the character and voice actor happen to be from the same race/ethnicity. It's mostly the facial features that the vast majority of people in that race share, which is why some voice actors don't resemble their characters at all (such as Rein and his voice Darin de Paul, since Rein is german and Darin de Paul is american)

no. Youre wrong. They design the character before giving it voice. then they search for someone who do the voice, sometimes ending being similar to the character.

It’s the presenters.. they’re just so damn awkward and awful at their jobs. It would put anyone off. I mean the female presenter doesn’t even address any of the voice actors by their names just ‘you’ or sojourn.
