Sokka's Overpowered Weiss Card Explained

NOTE: In the video I mentioned I preferred the Azula finisher, because her effect was able to guarantee putting Sokka into the WR. However, I didn't account for the required Iroh giving every Zuko check top 2 on both attacks they can perform, making finding a standby trigger a non issue. With Zuko your Clock is the limit and you could potentially get up to 6 Sokka procs for up to 12 total attacks.

I think it's not going to get banned, I think it's going to get errata'd to say 【AUTO】[(1) Put 1《World of Avatar》character from your waiting room at the bottom of your clock] When this card is placed on the stage from your hand, you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck for up to 1 cost 0 or lower《World of Avatar》character with level equal to or lower than your level, put it in any position of your stage, and shuffle your deck. 【AUTO】[(1) Put 1《World of Avatar》character from your waiting room at the bottom of your clock] When this card is put into your waiting room from the stage, you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck for up to 1 cost 0 or lower《World of Avatar》character with level equal to or lower than your level, put it in any position of your stage as【REST】, and shuffle your deck.

Yeah or just a clause that says if used from waiting room that character is put in rest. Kinda hoping they don't errata him just yet tho as the mechanic could turn out pretty fun in the long run

dont you just bthink they gonna say to an open position of the stage? becasue this would make him literally unplayable as a ricky. you cannot use him level 0 to get your level 1 combo and when you use him level 1 you cant use your climax combo becasue the card is rested.

@@DoKillaEnte open position of stage is easy enough to work around the abuseable cards between what standby can do and some of the level 0 Zuko cards. Reread my comment. Only comes in rested when sent to waiting room. If you have to overplay a Sokka to get an attacker that turn, that means you don't have another Sokka to use as a normal Riki, meaning you're actively trying to get two level 1 combos out of 1 Sokka anyways. Limiting it to one Sokka summoning a single attacker per turn isn't "unplayable", it's just fair. A normal Riki isn't "unplayable" ...
