i love how your video doesnt have any catchy music edited into it. people need to hear what these motors are doing in the type of the waters youre traveling to get the full experience. well done. awesome stuff.

@@ilovefriedrice9891 Hi, thank you very much, I like the sounds of the engine as well, as an operator or someone learning I think it’s imperative to listen to what the engine it doing and how much cavitation is acceptable. Thanks again for watching and the comment, I’m glad you enjoyed the videos. Take care and be safe.

What a hoot! Keep em' coming. Good on you for switching out the automatic PFD. I own two automatics, but in the past few days starting shopping for a high-end non-automatic with highest-rated bouyancy for just that reason and also lounge floating. Cheers.

@@mikesparks6559 Hi Mike, thank you and it is a hoot. That water was pretty fast and I just felt safer with a vest that I know will keep me afloat. In calmer water I trust the self inflating life jacket. It’s a good idea to have a good back up one to make you feel safer in rough conditions. Two more episodes to go. Thanks for watching and the comment, take care and be safe.

Do you not use the spray deck? With your PFD I would recommend a diving knife attached at chest height on a telephone style cord so you don't loose it...I once fell out a canoe in fast water and got hooked up in a fallen tree in the river with he PFD...I luckily got out but I would have cut the thing off me if I had a knife.

@@markcrowther2355 Hi Mark, what is a spray deck ? That’s a great idea to have a knife attached, I will be doing that for sure. I’m glad you had a knife and it got you out of trouble. Thanks for the tip, watching and taking the time to comment, take care.

@@bcextremeoutdoorsman Don"t you have a spray deck attached on the bow? (It's rolled up)
@bcextremeoutdoorsman3 ай бұрын
@@markcrowther2355 oh ok, yes I have never used that. It should have a ridge at the end to redirect the water to the sides of the boat so it runs out. With that spray deck I figure it will still end up in the boat. I should have had my electronics in one of the many dry bags I had in the boat. I should try it though. Thanks again my friend.

Are you going to do a comparison of the Stryker vs Solar based on the results of your trip?
@bcextremeoutdoorsman3 ай бұрын
@@quentinisley3256 Hi, I don’t think it would be fair to do a comparison at this point as I feel his boat is not dialed in yet. Plus I had a few more mods done to mine. SS impeller, poly foot, adjustable transom, tunnel extension, etc. It takes time to get them dialed in. But I do like mine better and I wouldn’t trade it for a Stryker. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, take care. I do like how easy it is to drain the Stryker. The plug on a Solar is pretty much useless. lol.

sounded like the Stryker was cavitating alot more then the Solar, The way. the motor was set up ?

@@ericmartens5930 Hi Eric, yes he had more cavitation troubles than I did for sure. His boat is not dialed in yet, it takes time. Yes I’m thinking motor height and angle. Thanks for watching and the comment, take care.
