Hello master Stanley Chiong =) Around 11k bro. Battery at 8pm was at 12.1 volts. I am guessing if I run it until 10pm it will cut off at 11.8 volts. So really need a bigger battery than this current 20Ah battery in the video.

@@jearnsserna2983 That's also OK to use. But you need to monitor the voltage. Make sure it will not go below 12.2 volts if possible. In this way you can take care and prolong the battery. But just as a tip, expect that the 12 plates battery will not last long. At best 8 months specially if heavily used daily.

It can be done. But during the hours of the day when there is little sunlight like when the clouds cover the sun, the MPQ-903 pump will suffer from low voltage. This will happen because there is no battery to draw saved energy from. Prolonged operation this way will shorten the life of the electrical component of this pump.

What if you didn't want to run the pump at night? What if you used the solar air pump at day time for an air lift pump? Can a system be rigged without the charge controller and the battery?

It can be done. But you need a step down voltage device. I forgot what's it called. It'll deliver DC power to the airpump at a manageable 12 to 14 volts. The solar panel in this video delivers 21 volts at peak sun light. If delivered direct to the DC Airpump it will overload the pump hence the need for that step down device.

Shopee has all these items for sale. Just do a diligent reading on buyer feedbacks on each seller. From there you can decide if a seller is ok or not. Also communicate with the seller if possible. If they offer you warranty that's a winner for me.

Mine is not that hot. It is hot but I can still touch it without feeling the burn sensation. Could you try to open your unit and then do a blower on it? Don't worry on opening it, it's very simple to assemble it back. No surprises on this one. There should be so much dust inside your unit that it causes extra friction on the magnet. By using a blower you will remove all those dust deposit inside. Try it and let me know the after effects.

I think you can do it without a battery. It will only work when the sun comes out. Most pools/tanks don't need 24 hour aeration.
