Hey Coach Brad, thanks for all the info in the video! I was wondering if you had any advice for me? I did solar installs for about 2 years, from zero to complete as a Crew Lead. I then transfered to electrician to get into school to become JM and get my license. I'm pretty much 6 years away from being able to get my contractors license and do everything in house but still a way to go. I was considering getting into solar sales for about a year or two and get the whole concept not maybe to be the best seller but to make connections with good sales guys and then set up departments as hr, sales, solar and residential electric services. I'm still putting everything together but any advice you have for me, or any flaws in my plan?

seems like the solar buisness is falling off here in san diego. people are getting let go left and right out here. Of course the electricity companies will raise their prices because your taking away their profits by you getting solar and lowering your electricity bills. Solar is a dying industry youll never save what you think because of the repercussions of the utility companies needed to make their money back by alllllways raising the prices. You only have so much space to put solar panels so when you run out and the electricity rates are so high what are you going to do??

Thanks for sharing your point of view. California experienced a huge change this year with the new net metering regulations - NEM 3.0. But in general, solar is up 24% from last year and the market is expected to triple over the next few years. With only 4% of US homes with solar, the opportunity is huge in solar.
