Solar E-Bike (Trike)

This is a prototype almost ready for production. The data on the video came from the exact results of road testing. Thanks to an energy-saving driving system, the solar panel not just works as an assistant recharging device but also can activate the vehicle into motion simultaneously. Thus the range can be extended largely. We are taking one more step to build a true and practical solar powered vehicle.

How does it handle windy days? I made a removeable solar canopy for my diy e-trike out of a kayak sun shade and a few things from my garage. It isn't rigid but when I am holding onto the panel when wind hits it the trike has started lifting off the ground a little. What are your experience with a more rigid frame?

Thanks for asking. With solar power and electricity from battery, the range is up to 120KM per recharging. With only electricity from battery, the range is up to 70KM per recharging.
