this consumes the power of the panel. the best would be a connection at the battery terminals, which short-circuits the battery, even through a 20w lamp when the voltage is 14.3.. does not tax the panel's power at all.

El circuito que tenés armado está mal, si medis a la salida del 7815 vas a verificar que la tensión se debe mantener constante en 14 o 15V por más que tapes parcialmente el panel solar, no así como ocurre en tu caso que en el emisor del Tip3055 cae a 4V. Por favor revise el circuito propuesto. Saludos

Battery will die as the output voltage is not use to be sign wave some other ICs should be used as capacitors, resistors, LEDs, double the applied transistors as well

That cicuitry was unnecessary! Connect solar panel straight to the battery through a diode. I have a 4'x4' solar panel puts out 19 v at 3/4 amp . I charge batteries of all sizes . There is not enough current to need anything besides a diode in series. The diode prevents the solar cell from draining the battery when its dark or real cloudy! I've been electronics for over 50 years !

@@akoguapo3517 Any 1or 2 amp 1000v piv power supply diode . I take them out of junk circuit boards. They are black with a white stripe on one end . Connect like this. Solar panel red + wire to diode --->!---+ to battery. White stripe goes to battery.

@@gaurav8396 with a 500 watt you might need a regulator circuit. But you could use a 2amp power supply diode in series with the plus or red wire . Put ohm meter on low amperage scale 5 or 10amp range in series with the diode in full sun light if its over 2 amps you'll have to parrallel 2 or 3 dides to handle the current.
