Hello, I ran across your video after having problems with a setup similar to yours. I have one of those little AgriOtter fence chargers to which I attached a 20AH lithium battery that is charged by a little solar panel I bought at a garage sale, about the same size as yours. One difference I have from your system is I put a solar charge controller between the solar panel and the battery. Problem I have is that my brand new battery will drain completely out in one night and I don't know if it's the fence charger draining it (it's only charging about 300 feet of aluminum wire) or if it's back-draining through the solar panel. Any suggestions?

Before I put the solar power on mine the battery would run my fence for 2-3 weeks without being charged. But it's also a marine battery.

@@papawsplace Thanks, buddy. I'm wondering if power might be leaking back through the solar panel because of a defective blocking diode but figured the charge controller would stop that. I have a note in to the manufacturer for input. Is your setup working well?

Sounds like you have a short if it's draining your battery that quickly.
