The first two screws that you fixed I see that the slate was supported by the batten. The next two in the middle, were they not supposed to be secured by screwing through a wooden batten sitting on top of the rafter, which effectively stops high winds lifting the panels and battens off the roof? The vertical batten is shown in the KZbin video for the Solar Slate Plate. Unfortunately the manufacturers video didn't demonstrate how you ensure that the plate picks up the rafter. where are these available for sale? what was the little fixing that hold the other slates in place after putting them back?

Little spring clips, mostly the same as other slate replacement clips you get.

Those clips at the end of the video hold the slates in, just like any other slate replacement system.
