Love the windshield. Clever compact way to mount the solar panels. A more expensive but lighter option is the flexible solar panels. That is what I might use if I go that route.

i got the schwinn meridian tricycle on craigslist... the 48v motor kit and battery i got on ebay... the sellers change, but you can find em... better ones now actually... with 'regeneration'... i got the solar panel kits, charger, panel hub and the 12v battery at harbor freight... i will get the other panels(100w) if/when i do another one... i made the frame for the solar panels out of pvc pipe and fittings from lowes... i had the springs and pipes and the gate lock-rods on hand... you can get great shocks on ebay... i would like to try some of the ones i looked at... hope that helps (:~:)
