GREAT PRODUCT AND BUILT HEAVY DUTY WITH AN AIMS 3000 WATT PSWave LOW FREQUENCY INVERTER BUILT INSIDE WITH MORE CAPACITY THAT CAN HANDLE MUCH LARGER LOADS IN AN AVERAGE HOME OR AN RV THEN THE SMALLER PORTABLE GENERATORS . ALTHOUGH IT HAS MUCH THE SAME FEATURES , IT'S MUCH LARGER , AND STILL PORTABLE ENOUGH TO RUN MORE LOADS LONGER EVEN DURING SHTF EVENTS . MAY THE SOLAR BE WITH YOU .

I would like to one .but my question is can you use it while it's charging and how long it would take to charge? So it's a solar panel ? Does still charge if the sun is not out ?or It only works when the sun is out? Also is it waterproof?

Just curious why you went 12V? Couldn't you bring the cost down a bit by doing 16S and and running a small converter or does the cost of the converter wash out the savings on cable and connectors ? Not sure what inverter you're using so maybe the 48V is a bit more expensive than the 12V model but typically they are fairly close in price since 48V is so popular for residential stuff.

Will this handle a well pump as well as all the home lights and appliances, except the air conditioner? How much does it run? What does the 12,000 model do this better than this? 6 kWh continuous?

Bet this thing doesn't suffer from voltage sag. Not the most energy dense cell option but in terms of power and safety you really can touch the Headways

@WesThatTechGuy
@WesThatTechGuy 4 жыл бұрын
latymz They both share the same 3000 W continuous power. We provide more charging capability, simultaneous charge and discharge, 4 ways to charge the pack and a much more superior battery pack. We use a very safe LifePo4 battery pack with Headway 38120 battery cells. I believe the other unit has a lithium ion battery pack. We’ve been in business for 15 years they are brand new. This is just a few differences.

I'm going to build a retirement cabin. I'm in search of a solar power for it . It HAS to power it ( by NECESSITY ) 24/7/365 / 366 ( every 4 yrs LOL) . I mean the whole house , including ... ALL the " good stuff " a/c fridge & freezer maybe even a small microwave ! How about a minisplit system ? Do You have any dealers in mid Tnn. ? What is turn around time on warrenty repair ( after all this would be My ONLY power source ) ? What is the the largest power source You offer ( ac/dc , solar & wind turbine capacity ) ? Do You offer complete kit ( w/ solar panels & a wind turbine ) ?

Can it power the amp and pa system?
@WesThatTechGuy
@WesThatTechGuy 4 жыл бұрын
ChrisAndTommy GoodTimeFolkRockS YES no problem however that would depend on how big the amp and PA system is. If it’s for a small show in a small club with four orfive musicians yes no problem all night long. If it’s for a big arena with front of house PA, monitor PA lights and full stacks for amps etc. no.

Should have went 24v because 100v and 30a mppt but only 440w is kinda weak then you need buck converters for 12v appliances but worth it
@WesThatTechGuy
@WesThatTechGuy 5 жыл бұрын
James Holbrook would normally make this unit 24v but customer insisted on 12v. 30a isn’t too awful for charge voltage on this battery pack. This pack can charge at a lot higher rate than that however.

I have not gotten any videos from you in forever! I was just wondering if you are going to do anything with LTO batteries? Lithium titanate oxide ( i butchered that probably) but they suppose to basically last forever, and non explosive like li ion, seems someone was selling 60ah cells for $40 or something, I wouldn't mind a 1k ah bank for my 24v or 48v system in a few years, if the price is lower, I have nearly 600 ah of liion now, with 600 of lead acid for back up, I think 1k ah to about 1.5k ah would be enough with a DC generator to charge in a emergency, with a 5kw inverter, plus my lighting is on a separate 12 volt lifepo4 bank, where you moving to? Catch ya later

My god.. its a GENERATOR PEOPLE! Some people lack common thought and understanding of looking at things other ways. Its a solar generator if hooked up to SOLAR or wind turbine. Because it stores a raw form of energy and converts it to usable energy. The fact that it does store said energy doesnt change the fact that it is a "GENERATOR (CONVERTER) OF ENERGY". YOU. ACT LIKE A ENGINE CLASSIFIES IT AS A GENERATOR.. Wrong.. its something that converts one form of energy into another. Its the machine itself and the process it achieves... its not what it is made up of. Just read the def. of a generator. Def. a dynamo or similar machine for converting mechanical energy into electricity. an apparatus for producing gas, steam, or another substance. This def. Mentions a specific source but is just an example. Not a set terminology of classification as stated below that. an apparatus for producing gas, steam, or another substance. Which it does!

The solar or the wind generator you you would hook up would be the generator

Seriously people. Stop calling it solar generator. It's not generator but power storage. It's like calling the gas tank ""Gas generator".
@WesThatTechGuy
@WesThatTechGuy 5 жыл бұрын
3dmixer I hear you! I didn’t ivent the term somebody else did so unfortunately this is what the world has decided to call it so in order for the rest of us to find it and get people to understand what we’re talking about we have to use the same terms. And once you add solar panels to it it does generate power or at least produce it.
@SuperVstech
@SuperVstech 5 жыл бұрын
3dmixer hardly... its like calling a generator a generator... The term isn’t for just the rotational device that produces the electricity... all “gas or other fuel generators” have a fuel tank, and a power or energy conversion device... fuel generators have a gas tank, and an engine and an alternator to “generate” usable voltage... The solar “generators” have a fuel tank, and a device to convert it to usable energy conversion device... how is it not a generator?
@3dmixer552
@3dmixer552 5 жыл бұрын
@@SuperVstech you are an !diot. Is the car battery a generator? because that is your argument. Alternator is generator, solar panel is generator but the battery is a storage for power generated by a generator.
@SuperVstech
@SuperVstech 5 жыл бұрын
3dmixer ... a car battery is a starting aid for the car... The battery in a solar generator is a battery... The battery in a traditional fuel generator is a starting aid... Are you under the VASTLY mistaken opinion that a solar generator is just a battery? Um... name calling? Really? Is that wise in a discussion? Sounds like someone losing a disagreement.
@3dmixer552
@3dmixer552 5 жыл бұрын
@@SuperVstech so the battery in the car is not a battery? This is from tesla powerwall's website? "Meet Powerwall, your home battery." nowhere mentioned solar generator" you can argue again it is a "house aid" not battery. I stick to the name calling
