These were so rare, with the fixed glass roof. It took our dealer forever to get one on the lot back in the day.

I always remember it was a $790 option where the moon roof was 1200. they both came with sun shades

@@Tatortot318 wasn't the 2 dr glass roof a little longer than the 4 dr cars? I seem to recall it went back to the B pillar in both.

Had an executive sedan (livery) service back then. Had two '79 Lincoln Town Cars, not will the glass roof option..They were very comfortable, well made. Popular with customers. Many Lincoln Towns and Mercury Grand Marqs. in the following years. .

We had the identical car (except for the red warning light) sold it for $3k about 1993 - that was foolish! Ours didn’t have the C B radio. They’re beautiful, quiet and comfortable.

I don't think ive ever seen a blinker dash light not working before, no biggie. It's huge, comfy & 1979 at the helm... Overhead shadow views were awesome my dude 😊

These cars are so quiet, it's like the engine is up on the next block when you start it. All you hear in the video are the clicks of the buttons as its driven.
