Hey Anna, i just turned 16 recently and was looking into the 2004 Honda Accord because according to my parents, who owned this car back in 2009, it’s a decent car. I was wondering, since you own the same model, if you agree with that and tell me if there is anything i should know about this specific model. Thank you
@Anna-xn9og4 жыл бұрын
Hooded Hokage the only thing i don’t like about this car is the air keeps blowing hot air which sucks bc i live in arizona and i took it to the mechanic and they said that the compressor needs to be replaced but that is probably due to it being so old and having 95,000 miles on it. other than that i love this car it’s amazing and it goes really fast

Holy hell. 9k for this!!???? In 2015... not even lmfao!! Whoever priced that thing was smoking that good crack. I mean I got an 08 exl from car auction for 2300 and it's the best car I ever owned. but man. An 08 accord theses days can range from 5k to 7k and its 11yrs old as opposed to this accord when it was 11yrs old in 2015. My god

@@zico888 I think you mean 180000 ...if it's 18000 then definitely...I would buy it either way...just make sure you have $1000 emergency fund...such as the starter going out or the power steering...etc.
@zico8882 жыл бұрын
@@willyjoerockhead Thank you .. yes it has 180,000 for 4k . As I saw the car it's very clean and it's a good price for Honda.. I have Ford foucs 2013 but the transmission is really really bad and it won't last me to 300 something like Honda..

These cars will get you 400k miles easy with low maintenance I bought one fresh of the lot in 2003 car gave me 17 years of greatness that catalytic converter was stolen so I have to scrap it because it’s going to cost more than the cars worth but it’s a great great car
@deuces34932 жыл бұрын
Is the transmission still available if you scrapping ?
@logmaster276 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t scrap a car over a cat unless it’s on its last legs for sure. Could get 100k more miles out of it or more…forget what it’s worth, buying a cat is cheaper than buying a new car.

I sat inside of one of these 2 days ago for the first time and it was either an 06 or 07. I don't know the exact year but I could tell by the tailights. Anyway the door panel was very plush and the seats were very comfortable and the door, it wasn't VW solid but it still felt of higher quality to me when I closed it. I don't know the trim level though because it had leather with hubcaps, no sunroof or steering wheel audio controls. In conclusion, I think it's the best midsize sedan for the money I'm sold and I want to get one and it is my favorite generation of accord.
@johnfrantz58859 жыл бұрын
It was probably a SE trim level
@Jakeman216429 жыл бұрын
Billy William Aftermarket leather. There was absolutely no way to get leather on the 7th gen from the factory without getting an EX-L which rolled in alloys, sunroof, steering wheel audio controls, dual zone auto climate etc. If it had hubcaps it was probably an LX or a VP.
@johnfrantz58859 жыл бұрын
Wasn't there a SE though, that was basically just an LX with leather
@Jakeman216429 жыл бұрын
John Frantz SE had alloys and steering wheel audio controls but still had cloth. Basically just a LX with a few leftover things thrown in because that body style was about to be gone which is pretty much what Honda's SE models always are. The only one that was ever special was the second gen CR-V SE which was pretty much top of the line.
@johnfrantz58859 жыл бұрын
Oh I just assumed because I was at a honda dealership and I saw a 2012 honda accord SE, it was just a LX with leather

Jakeman21642 hm no. Depreciation of course but less than 2 years later 5 grand less? Don't think so. I suppose geographic location also plays a role. But this was overpriced. I do appreciate the video though. Thanks very thorough

Rather you like this comment or not. 137 ain't much but for a 05 honda accord tht is wayyy to fucking high. I was looking at 07- 12 infinti g37 coupe and they come around tht mileage and lower and is ethier lower or a little higher. The most the car is worth is 5000 with low miles and it being cash out the door. The most at tht, look tht crap up Kelly blue book to confirm what I think would be the most I would pay. But sorry tht was a little harsh but I would not in my Damn lie pay 8000- 9000 cash for a 05 honda accord. Cause like I said it's wayyy to dang high.
