Bought a 08 328i with 90k miles for 6500 it’s a smooth fast driving experience probably why they call it the ultimate driving machine. It handles really well and just feels quality built I am handy myself so I can work on cars myself also KZbin has a lot of DIY if ur mechanically capable of doing so

I got one of these just this Fourth of July. $8k with 100k miles. It’s fantastic. Love the engine and just everything about it.

Do these last, do they have a lot of problems? How is yours doing??
@S.T.R.Y.K.E.R.2 жыл бұрын
@@Mr-ep2qi considering it’s a 2008 and runs like new, i would say they last pretty well. I’m pretty certain it’s one of the most popular models so parts are usually a BIT cheaper.

@@Mr-ep2qi They really great cars man. I've 220k on mine & she's still kicking ass like the day I got her with 8k on her. Very easy to maintain yourself.

@@AugustDreamScape wait I was afraid of getting one today 6k for 118k miles grey 2008 228i bad or no? And also 2nd owner
@AugustDreamScape2 жыл бұрын
@@Tokinboy if it's in quality condition besides the mileage, then yes! I paid 10k for a 08 E90 328i. It was fully serviced before I got my hands on it. A well maintained BMW will always retain value no matter the age. Can't say the same for BMWs made passed 2011.

The E90s were the last good generation, the handling, weight, power were fantastic. The I6 motor (if maintained properly) could last well over 250,000 miles on the odometer. Anything post-2011 was garbage IMO.

I have an E92 and I agree. I started noticing differences right away starting with the front edge of the hood. Of course mine is a coupe, if you agree a coupe has 2 doors as opposed to the newer ones with 4 & 5 doors.

Hey man, great video!! Really enjoyed it, and I learned a ton. Im currently 15 looking to buy my first car, and wanted to make sure if I do purchase a BMW that it was well worth my money. After watching, it made me want one even more. This video covered all my questions and more. Keep up the good work!
@dannyjr28047 жыл бұрын
Quaid Ercanbrack go for it bro! I was once you and now I’m 17 as a senior in high school and this car is so much fun. Take care of her and she should give you no problems. Also the maintenance isn’t even bad as haters say about beemers. After all they probably can’t afford it so don’t get discouraged. Work hard for it and watch the lady’s come from every direction
@williamjohnson25697 жыл бұрын

Yeah. I'd start with a Honda. Work your way up to a BMW.

Any owners here? I have never owned a bmw, but I'm seriously in love with this model in particular, how expensive is basic maintainance?? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated ☝️💪
@Eyevan80404 жыл бұрын
Expensive... but depends where you take it. Majority of people will make you pay a lot for basic things, in my opinion if you don’t know anyone that knows how to work on bmws to take it to a BMW dealer and let them take care of it

owner of this particular model since 2016. It can get expensive with parts and maintenance. Halogen lights arent reliable as LED, replacing it would cost approx 1600 CAD. 5L/100km on hwy and 8-12L /100km on city. Requires 91 octane gas and battery must be changed after every 10 years of use. RWD too, good for speed, not on winters
@prolfifc96904 жыл бұрын
Oil change you can do yourself. Use OEM Mann filter buy off amazon or eBay cheaper like $8 each. Oil change cost more if you do yourself because it requires 7 quarts of oil compared to a Honda only takes 5 quarts so like $15-20 more per oil change if you do yourself.
